On April 24, 2025, the “Aesthetic Education Public Welfare Classroom” of Song Qingling Foundation of Guangdong Province came to our school, and a unique feast of aesthetic education was opened. On that day, the activity set up two unique thematic divs, aiming to improve students' aesthetic quality and artistic creativity through diversified art forms.

In order to promote the excellent traditional Chinese culture, stimulate the artistic creativity of young people, Professor Liang Rujie for our school students to bring a lecture entitled “Avenue of Nature - Liang Rujie Chinese Painting Appreciation Lecture” of the art of enlightenment.
Featuring immersive experiences and fun interactions, the lectures transformed the essence of the Lingnan School of Painting into a “cultural game” that children can perceive, sowing the seeds of traditional art in their hearts.
“Chinese paintings are not 'old-fashioned', but a magic book that hides the codes of the universe”. Prof. Liang appeared as an “art puzzle solver”, transforming the profound theories of painting into a “playful language” that children can perceive.
“My paintbrush is the gene detector of Lingnan Earth, and every stroke is decoding the artistic code of the family.” Prof. Liang used the metaphor of “cultural gene engineer” to tell the “Lingnan narrative” in the brush and ink of three generations. His grandfather, Mr. Liang Zhanfeng, pioneered the lychee painting method of “crashing water and powder”, his father, Mr. Liang Ji, recorded the new appearance of the Pearl River at the early stage of reform and opening up with “ink and landscape”, and he himself captured the ecological changes in the Greater Bay Area of Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao with “the bone method”. Mr. Lu Suigang has long been committed to the study of Lingnan folk crafts, in the lecture, he took Lingnan crafts as a sample, and systematically deconstructed the logic of traditional crafts, the underlying wisdom and the path of contemporary transformation. Teachers and students touched the historical temperature in the sound of burin, explored the future possibilities in Guangcai glaze, and went to a thought feast of “let traditional crafts come alive”.
“The wisdom of Lingnan crafts is the eternal dialectic intertwined with 'the time of the day, the weather of the earth, the beauty of the material, and the skill of the craftsman'.” Lu Suigang unveils the survival code of traditional crafts hidden in the folds of time and space with the discernment of a “craft philosopher”: ecological wisdom, economic wisdom, and aesthetic wisdom.
Mr. Lu Suigang hoped that the students could do their part in the survival of the wisdom gene of Lingnan craftsmanship in the future, so that they could flow into the modern fields of smart home, digital art, eco-architecture, etc., and become the cultural background of “China's Creation”.
