Today, the annual Art & STEAM Exhibition at Britannia International School (BIS) was a wonderful success, thanks to the organisation of our arts teacher Ms. Daisy and STEAM teacher Mr. Dickson.
The second-floor art gallery showcased stunning student artwork inspired by the theme "Blooming", including photography, paintings, and clay sculptures. Meanwhile, the MPR was transformed into a futuristic landscape, where students displayed hand-made models of their "Future Cities" as part of the STEAM project.
The afternoon began with a musical performance by BIS students, setting the tone for an inspiring open exhibition. Visitors, including BIS families and first-time guests, strolled through the displays, engaging with the young creators who enthusiastically explained the ideas behind their work.
Mr. Dickson shared how impressed he was hearing students talk about their creations in person—even though these were based on classroom presentation, seeing their confidence and creativity shine on display was a whole new experience. Ms. Daisy also noted the depth and thoughtfulness in the photography of our older students, which left a lasting impression on visitors.
Thank you to everyone who came and participated today.
We’ve shared some student work introductions in previous posts, and more highlights are coming soon—stay tuned!
