As the 2024–2025 academic year draws to a close, BIS is proud to celebrate two creative highlights that have brought imagination and inspiration to our campus—this year’s Yearbook cover design project and the Primary Creative Writing Competition.
In the Secondary School, students were invited to contribute artwork for the BIS Yearbook cover, guided by our Art teacher, Mr Daisy. This annual creative initiative encouraged students to reflect on the school year through visual expression. A variety of thoughtful and eye-catching designs were submitted, and after a careful review, a selection of outstanding pieces has been shortlisted. Two of these will be featured on the front and back covers of the Yearbook, capturing the spirit and creativity of our student community.

Meanwhile, during this afternoon’s Primary assembly, we celebrated the winners of the recent campus-wide writing competition. Themed around a “magical story,” this event invited students to let their imaginations soar through creative writing and storytelling. With guidance and encouragement from their homeroom teachers, the young writers crafted original pieces that impressed us with their language skills, creativity, and enthusiasm. The winners were announced in assembly to warm applause from teachers and peers alike.
