5月24日,亚加达国际预科迎来了第12届毕业典礼。身着毕业袍的2025届学生们在亲友、老师的见证下,踏上了属于他们的荣耀时刻。


On May 24th, Alcanta International College held its 12th Graduation Ceremony. Dressed in their gowns, the Class of 2025 stepped into their moment of glory, witnessed by family, friends, and teachers.


2025届毕业生在大学录取中取得了卓越成绩。截止至今, 人均收获6封世界名校录取通知书。其中,93%的学生获得QS全球排名前50大学的录取近86%斩获全球前30强录取,更有21.5%的学子成功跻身全球前十顶尖学府。本届毕业生实现了全员被世界百强大学录取的成绩,艺术生更以100%的录取率包揽全球前十艺术院校。特别值得一提的是,香港大学申请者全部获得录取。此外,有半数毕业生荣获各类奖学金,累计总额约人民币580万元。这一系列亮眼数据,充分展现了本届毕业生强劲的学术实力与全球竞争力。


The Class of 2025 has achieved outstanding university admission results. On average, each student received offers from six world-renowned institutions. Among you, 93% gained admission to universities ranked within the global top 50 by QS, nearly 86% secured spots in the top 30, and an impressive 21.5% were accepted into the elite top 10 universities worldwide. This graduating class has accomplished the remarkable feat of securing admission for every student into a top 100 global university, with our art students achieving a 100% acceptance rate at the world’s top 10 art schools. It is also worth highlighting that every applicant to the University of Hong Kong was successful. Additionally, half of you were awarded scholarships, totaling approximately RMB 5.8 million. These exceptional results fully demonstrate this class’s academic excellence and global competitiveness.

在2025届毕业典礼上,AIC校长 David Cao 以“在不确定的世界,做确定的自己”为题发表演讲。他回顾了毕业生们在疫情期间克服挑战的勇气,也感谢了老师与家长们始终如一的支持与陪伴。


他以充满情感的开场词致敬毕业生:


 “你们今天所穿的毕业袍,远不止是学术成就的象征。它们编织着你们深夜苦读的灯光、在疫情中坚守学习的身影,以及老师与父母始终如一的支持。


在人工智能不断重塑世界的当下,David Cao提醒学生,有些东西永远无法被取代, 那就是人类的深度。他强调,IB教育为学生们赋予了未来至关重要的三把“钥匙”:


  • 第⼀把是“批判之钥”—TOK教会你们区分“信息”与“洞察”,在AI答案洪流中保持清醒判断; 

  • 第⼆把是“创造之钥”—EE研究要求你们像学者般追问“已知”之外的空⽩,这种突破框架的勇⽓正是创新的⽕种;

  • 第三把是“共情之钥”—CAS活动中让生命与生命彼此照亮,明白真正的进步永远以尊重人性为前提。

他以意味深长的比喻为演讲作结:

At the 2025 Graduation Ceremony, AIC Head of School David Cao delivered a heartfelt speech titled "In an Uncertain World, Be the Certainty Within." He reflected on the resilience graduates had shown during the pandemic and expressed deep gratitude for the unwavering support from teachers and parents throughout their journey.


He opened with a moving tribute:

“The gowns you wear today represent far more than academic achievement. They are woven with the light of your late-night efforts, your perseverance during the pandemic, and the constant support of your teachers and families.”


In a world increasingly shaped by artificial intelligence, Mr. Cao reminded students that some qualities remain irreplaceable—most importantly, human depth. He emphasized that an IB education equips students with three essential keys for the future:

The Key of Critical Thinking — taught through TOK, helping students distinguish between information and insight, and encouraging them to remain thoughtful in the face of AI-generated content.

The Key of Creativity — developed through the EE, where students learn to ask questions beyond the known, and dare to challenge established frameworks—the spark of true innovation.

The Key of Empathy — nurtured through CAS, where life connects with life, reminding students that true progress is always grounded in respect for humanity.

He concluded with a powerful metaphor:

“Take one last look at the AIC emblem. The three stars—Truth, Goodness, and Beauty—represent the soul of our education. May you carry these lights in your heart, and set sail with clarity, courage, and conviction on the journey that is uniquely your own.”

Student Representative Speeches



—Pianpian WU

Pianpian回顾了她在AIC四年的成长旅程—从IG1阶段那个安静、懵懂的新生,逐步成长为一名自信、独立的学习者。她分享了自己在学术挑战中的突破,表达了对创办AIC首个英国议会式辩论社团的自豪,也讲述了在大学申请过程中所经历的迷茫与收获。


她真挚地感谢了老师们一路上的鼓励与指导,感谢父母始终如一的信任与支持,也感谢同学们在这段旅途中并肩同行。


她以音乐剧《Epic》中的一句歌词作为结尾:

“试试看吧,其实并不难。
当你张开双臂迎接生活,这个世界会变得无比美好。”


Pianpian reflected on her four-year journey at AIC—from a quiet newcomer in IG1 to the confident, independent learner she became in DP. She shared her growth through academic challenges, her pride in founding AIC’s first British Parliamentary Debate Club, and her struggles and triumphs in the university application process. With heartfelt gratitude, she thanked her teachers for their encouragement, her parents for their unwavering belief, and her classmates for walking this path together. 


She concluded with a lyric from Epic: The Musical: “Give it a try. It’s not that hard. This life is amazing, when you greet it with open arms.”

—Ivan Piskunov

Ivan 发表了一场充满力量与诗意的演讲,情感真挚、思想深刻。他打破了对传统学校教育的刻板印象,赞扬AIC是一个充满真诚、对话与个性表达的地方。

在演讲中,他一一提到自己的同学,称呼他们的名字,细致地描绘出每个人的性格与闪光点,回忆起他们共同经历的珍贵时刻。他以谦逊与坦率回顾了自己的不足,既道歉,也表达了感激。他提醒大家:同学之间的羁绊,并不来自制度的安排,而是源于在AIC共同经历的真实与人性:

“普通的学校就像《黑客帝国》中的虚拟世界,与现实生活脱节;但在AIC,我们被允许做真正的人。”


他感谢老师们不仅是知识的传授者,更是引路人、朋友和生活中的光:“你们把我们当作独立的个体看待,而我们也把你们当作家人。”


他的结语,温柔而坚定,完美捕捉了这场告别的情绪:“这些年是我人生中最美好的时光,能与你们一起度过,我感到无比幸福。谢谢你们。”



Ivan delivered a powerful, poetic speech that resonated with emotion and thoughtfulness. He challenged the clichés of traditional schooling and praised AIC for being a place of sincerity, dialogue, and individuality.

He honored each classmate by name, highlighting their character, strengths, and the memories they created together. With humility and vulnerability, he acknowledged his own missteps, offering apologies and gratitude in equal measure. He reminded everyone that their bond came not from structure, but from the shared humanity they experienced at AIC:

“Ordinary schools are like the Matrix—detached from real life. But at AIC, we were allowed to be human.”


He thanked the teachers for being more than educators—for being mentors, friends, and lights in their lives:

“You saw us as individuals. And we saw you as family.”


His final words captured the spirit of the moment:

“These were the best years of my life. I’m so happy I spent them with you. Thank you all.”

Parents Representative Speeches



—Michelle女士

在典礼现场,2025届毕业生 Alexander 的母亲 Michelle 女士 作为中文家长代表发言。她以一位母亲最真挚的情感,讲述了孩子在AIC四年的成长与蜕变,也代表所有家长,向老师们表达由衷的感谢。

她回忆起,孩子在AIC度过了整整四年,从初入校园的青涩少年,逐渐成长为有担当、有追求的年轻人。这段旅程离不开一位位老师的倾心投入与默默陪伴。

Michelle女士也特别感谢四年来悉心关怀孩子生活与学习的几位班主任,以及总是在关键时刻给予家长信心与支持的学校管理团队。


她动情地说:“今天的毕业不是终点,而是孩子们探索广阔人生的起点。未来的路上,他们也许会孤独、会困惑、会受挫。但我相信,多年的国际教育赋予他们的不只是知识,更是面对世界时的从容和坚定。”


最后,她代表所有父母送上深情的祝福:

“愿你们带着爱与自由,去书写属于你们自己的故事。你们永远是父母最骄傲的作品,谢谢你们,也谢谢AIC。”



Ms. Michelle, mother of 2025 graduate Alexander, delivered a heartfelt speech as the Chinese parent representative. Speaking with the sincere emotions of a mother, she reflected on her child’s four-year journey of growth and transformation at AIC, while also expressing deep gratitude to the teachers on behalf of all parents.


She recalled how her son had spent his entire high school life at AIC—entering as a shy, curious boy and growing into a responsible, purposeful young adult. This journey, she noted, would not have been possible without the dedication and quiet support of the many teachers who guided him along the way.


Michelle also extended special thanks to the homeroom teachers who had cared for her son throughout the years, as well as to the school’s leadership team, who consistently offered reassurance and support to parents during critical moments.


She spoke with deep emotion:


“Today’s graduation is not the end, but the beginning of our children’s journey into a vast world. Along the way, they may face loneliness, confusion, or setbacks—but I believe that the years of international education have given them more than just knowledge. It has given them composure and resilience in the face of uncertainty.”


In closing, she offered this heartfelt blessing on behalf of all parents:


“May you carry love and freedom with you as you write your own stories. You will always be your parents’ greatest pride. Thank you—and thank you, AIC.”

作为2025届毕业生 Ivan 的母亲,Aleksandra 女士在典礼现场以一段温柔而坚定的演讲,分享了儿子从一名职业网球选手转变为思考者与领导者的心路历程。

她坦言,两年前当Ivan第一次踏入AIC时,母子俩都满怀忐忑。他此前接受的是高度个性化的运动员训练,而非传统的学校教育。他们担心他能否适应校园生活、能否融入社群、能否在非母语的环境中自信表达。但AIC给出的答案超越了她的期待。

“这所学校的魔力在于——它不试图去塑造学生的模样,而是去点亮他们本来的样子。在这里,没有人对他说‘你应该这样’,而是告诉他‘你可以这样想’。”


在AIC,Ivan不仅找到了归属感,更找到了表达自我、提出不同声音的勇气。他从运动员成长为辩手、思想者与组织者,发现了那些在网球场上未曾发掘的热情与潜能。


Aleksandra深情表示:

“我曾在一个把‘顺从’当作生存之道的系统中成长,而AIC教会我的孩子:教育不是为了让人适应框架,而是去建构框架,并有勇气打破它。”

“感谢你们真正地看见了我们的孩子,并照亮了他们最闪亮的那一面。”

Ms. Aleksandra, mother of 2025 graduate Ivan, delivered a warm and thoughtful speech reflecting on her son’s transformation—from a professional tennis player to a thinker and student leader.

She shared that when Ivan first entered AIC two years ago, both of them were filled with uncertainty. Ivan had been training professionally in tennis for years, learning through private coaching rather than traditional schooling. They worried: Could he adapt to real classrooms? Could he connect with peers and teachers? Could he thrive in an English-speaking environment that wasn’t his native tongue?


AIC, she said, gave them an answer far beyond what they had hoped for.

“This school doesn’t try to mold students—it reveals who they already are. No one here told Ivan, ‘That’s not how it’s done.’ Instead, they encouraged him to question, to explore, to think differently.”


At AIC, Ivan didn’t just find a place to learn—he found the courage to express himself, the space to take risks, and the freedom to redefine who he could be. He transitioned from athlete to debater, from competitor to collaborator, discovering new passions that had long remained dormant.


Aleksandra reflected:

“I grew up in a system where conformity was survival. But AIC taught my son that education isn’t about fitting into boxes—it’s about building them, and having the courage to tear them down.”


She closed with a line that resonated deeply with the audience:

“Thank you for truly seeing our children—for reflecting back the brightest parts of who they are.”

PERFORMANCE


在AIC,低年级学生在毕业典礼上为学长学姐献上表演,是一项延续多年的传统。这不仅是一场表演,更是一种跨年级的温情致敬与真挚祝福,象征着校园精神的传承与延续。


在2025届毕业典礼上,这份传统由IG年级的学生温暖延续。Sisi Xie 与音乐教师 Heather 联袂演奏《卡农》,钢琴与大提琴交织出细腻柔和的旋律,仿佛轻轻唤起毕业生心底关于校园时光的回响。紧接着,Shaun(贝斯)、Max(萨克斯)、Steve(键盘)、Niki(鼓)与 Heather 老师(键盘)组成的学生乐队带来一曲《Just the Two of Us》,节奏鲜明、默契十足,展现出AIC多元融合、青春共鸣的独特氛围。

At AIC, it is a long-standing tradition for younger students to perform at the graduation ceremony as a heartfelt tribute to their senior peers. These performances are more than just artistic showcases—they are warm gestures of respect and affection across grade levels, symbolizing the continuity of our school spirit.


At the 2025 Graduation Ceremony, this tradition was lovingly carried on by students from the IG year. Sisi Xie, together with music teacher Heather, performed a moving rendition of *Canon*, where piano and cello blended in delicate harmony, gently evoking memories of campus life for the graduating class. Following that, a student band featuring Shaun (bass), Max (saxophone), Steve (keyboard), Niki (drums), and Heather (keyboard) delivered a vibrant performance of *Just the Two of Us*, capturing the spirit of multiculturalism and youthful energy that defines AIC.


In these performances, students from different grades built a bridge of emotion—offering not just a fond farewell, but a deeper layer of meaning to the ceremony itself. Through these acts of tribute and blessing, the essence of AIC is passed down, and the memories of youth are tenderly preserved in music and applause.

They also display an open-mindedness, a broad knowledge base, a reflective and inquisitive nature, a commitment to holistic development, and a strong desire for learning. The recipient has the potential to become a true lifelong learner.
