在IB课程框架下，我们始终相信，每一位成员都是学习者，学校与家庭共同组成了充满活力的学习共同体。在5月，幼儿园顺利开展了“家长走进课堂”活动，多位家长走入课堂，与孩子们共同探究、共同成长，在真实的生活情境中丰富孩子们的学习体验。
Claire爸爸分享了马拉松运动的背景与精神，孩子们在操场上进行了热身和实地奔跑，感受到坚持与挑战的力量。
George妈妈则带来充满节奏感的室内有氧训练，孩子们在欢笑中锻炼身体，也学习到保持健康的生活方式。
mini仔妈妈用生动的语言介绍了潜水运动，带孩子认识潜水装备与技巧，还通过角色模拟教大家如何救助晕倒的同伴，并引导孩子们探讨“我们如何保护海洋”，培养他们成为关爱地球的行动者。
Fadil妈妈作为一名教师，为孩子们介绍了老师的日常工作，帮助他们理解“教育者”的意义，也启发孩子们去思考“我未来想成为谁”。
Luna妈妈介绍了飞机工作人员的职责，通过角色扮演让孩子们体验机长、乘务员、安全员的工作过程，在真实任务中学习与协作。
Bernice爸爸为孩子们带来了关于心脏与健康的医学知识，通过听诊器让每位孩子“听见”自己的心跳，理解心跳频率的差异，并教授了基本的自我急救方法，激发孩子们对人体科学的兴趣与责任感。
Charlotte妈妈带来了温馨的音乐课堂，与孩子们一起演唱经典粤语歌曲《何家公鸡何家猜》，并贴心准备动物头饰，孩子们在歌唱与扮演中沉浸式学习粤语，感受本地文化的魅力，发展语言与表达能力。
这些多元的课堂，不仅横跨健康教育、科学素养、艺术文化与社会认知等多个领域，更为孩子们提供了贴近生活、富有意义的真实探究情境。
在IB教育理念中，我们强调跨学科学习、探究精神与全球视野。本次“家长走进课堂”活动，正是一次实践IB核心价值的生动展现。家长们以真实身份走入教学现场，丰富了学习资源，拓展了探究维度，也让孩子们在“真实世界中学习”。

Within the IB framework, we believe that everyone is a learner, and that a vibrant learning community is built upon strong partnerships between school and home. Throughout the month of May, our Kindergarten welcomed the “Parents in the Classroom” initiative, where many of our wonderful parents stepped into our learning spaces to engage, share, and grow alongside the children through meaningful, real-world experiences.
Health and
Self-Management
Claire’s dad introduced the spirit and story of marathon running. Children warmed up and ran on the playground, experiencing the power of perseverance and challenge.
George’s mom led energetic indoor aerobic sessions, where laughter and movement came together, helping children develop healthy habits in a joyful environment.
Caring for the Environment
and Social Responsibility
Mini Zai’s mom shared her experience as a diver. Through vivid storytelling and hands-on demonstrations of diving gear and basic skills, she also taught children how to assist a fainted peer, and sparked discussion on the important question: “How can we protect our oceans?” Children were inspired to become more aware and caring towards our planet.
Understanding Professions
and Social Roles
Fadil’s mom, a teacher herself, shared her daily life as an educator. Her talk helped children understand the responsibilities of teachers and encouraged them to wonder: “What do I want to be in the future?”
Luna’s mom introduced the roles and duties of airplane crew. Children participated in role play as pilots, flight attendants, and safety officers, gaining insights into teamwork and the real-world tasks of aviation professionals.
Scientific Literacy
and Life Care
Bernice’s dad brought in engaging medical knowledge about the heart and health. Using stethoscopes, children listened to their own heartbeats and learned the differences in heart rate between adults and children. He also demonstrated simple first-aid techniques, sparking curiosity in life sciences and nurturing a sense of responsibility.
Cultural Expression
and Language Exploration
Charlotte’s mom delivered a heartwarming music class. Children sang the classic Cantonese song “Which Family Owns the Rooster?”, wearing adorable animal headbands. Through music and performance, they learned new Cantonese vocabulary and experienced the beauty of local culture in an immersive way.
These diverse sessions crossed boundaries of health education, science, the arts, cultural learning, and career exploration — providing students with meaningful, real-life contexts in which to inquire and learn.
In IB education, we emphasize transdisciplinary learning, a spirit of inquiry, and global perspectives. This “Parents in the Classroom” initiative brought these principles to life. Our parents became part of the learning journey, enriching the curriculum, expanding inquiry, and helping children see the world as their classroom.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to every parent who took part. Your presence, passion, and partnership made our learning community stronger, and your stories brought the world closer to our children.Let us continue learning side by side — planting seeds of growth in every shared moment.
