Last week, the BIS Student Council held elections for the role of Vice President, and all Secondary students, along with Year 6 from the Primary School, participated in the voting process. The two candidates, both delivering excellent motivational speeches, represented a diverse range of student voices.
Year 11 student, Askat , and Year 13 student Khanh, gave passionate addresses, outlining their vision for the school and how they intended to make a positive impact on the student body. After a thorough counting of votes, Year 13 student Khanh emerged victorious and has been elected as the new Vice President of the Student Council.
In other council news, members have been actively volunteering around the school. In the upcoming weeks they will be lending a hand at the Open Day as well as assisting with the Primary School Disco. As the year progresses, the Student Council is excited to continue working on engaging projects and organizing exciting events for both students and staff. The team looks forward to making a difference and representing the student body in the months ahead.
Stay tuned for more updates from your Student Council!
