Lessons Alive 萌犬缉私官空降华外，这堂国门安全课让安全教育"活"了起来

10月21日下午，华外秀丽剧院内，一场别开生面的“国门安全课”正在上演。这不是普通的知识传授，而是一次将国家安全教育融入校园生活的创新实践。穗东海关联合黄埔海关缉私局、东江口海关为华外学子量身打造了一场沉浸式普法体验。

On the afternoon of October 21st, HW hosted a unique "National Gate Security" class. This was no ordinary lecture, but an immersive legal experience tailored for our students, created through a collaboration of local customs authorities.

从非法异宠到走私象牙，从零食陷阱到萌犬缉私，这场活动让抽象的“国家安全”概念变得可感、可知、可参与，体现了学校“教育连接现实、学习服务社会”的育人理念。

 The session made the abstract concept of national security tangible and engaging for students, covering topics from exotic pets to detector dogs. This hands-on approach reflects the school's commitment to connecting learning with real-world responsibility.

借由华南师范大学发现外来物种鳄雀鳝、亚洲鲶鱼“占领”恒河  的案例，东江口海关雷莺副科长展示了入侵物种危害图鉴，包括常见的各种宠物，让学生认识到“异宠”对生物多样性和生态安全的威胁。

Using real cases, customs officials showed how invasive pet species can become a threat to local ecosystems.

“找到了！”检疫犬Boby在训导员刘玉棠的指令下，仅用3秒就锁定了目标行李箱。这一刻，书本上“海关检疫”四个字变成了眼前生动的现实。

6名幸运同学与Boby的互动，不仅带来了全场的沸腾，更带来了学习的另一种可能：亲身体验的震撼，远胜于纸上谈兵。

In just three seconds, detector dog Boby located the target suitcase on command. This thrilling moment turned textbook concepts into a tangible reality for the six lucky students who interacted with him.

穗东海关孙娜副科长带来的“进口零食三段管理模式”，让同学们恍然大悟：原来知识就在身边的生活中。

“查注册、看标签、验身份”的选购指南，不仅是实用技巧，更是批判性思维的训练，帮助学生练就在日常生活中发现知识、应用知识的能力。

Suidong Customs introduced a "three-step guide" for choosing imported snacks, turning an everyday activity into a practical lesson. This approach taught students not just what to look for on labels, but also how to think critically about their daily choices.

黄埔海关耿亮副科长展示的走私象牙制品触目惊心：“一根象牙背后，是一头大象被虐杀！”通过黄埔海关破获的“1.17”特大象牙走私案的视频实录，将抽象的“生态安全”具象化为残酷的生命代价，让学生直观感受到走私犯罪对野生动物资源的毁灭性破坏，从情感上深刻认识到国门安全与每个人的责任息息相关。

Customs officials showed students how the ivory trade kills elephants. Using real cases, they made the link between wildlife smuggling and our shared responsibility for national security.
