At ISA Liwan, questions are not the end of learning — they are the spark that ignites deeper thinking. Our teachers guide students through thought-provoking discussions, turning lessons into collaborative journeys of exploration.

This inquiry-based approach nurtures higher-order thinking and real-world problem-solving skills. Recently, our high school team won First Prize at the Global Invention Convention China Finals (ICC) for their innovative project Harmony — The Five-Tone Therapy System, exemplifying our commitment to creativity and critical inquiry.

During the Open Day, each division will showcase student projects, illustrating how they integrate innovation with logic and apply what they’ve learned to authentic real-world contexts. A recent  presentation from the Action Week of international high school focused on autonomous driving and ethics.
The student presented an impressive research report examining the moral dilemmas behind the “Trolley Problem” in AI-driven vehicles, offering thoughtful analysis and creative solutions. The report demonstrated not only logical reasoning, but also deep empathy and social awareness.

At ISA Liwan, learning extends beyond students — teachers are lifelong learners, and parents are vital members of our learning community.

Through our monthly ISA Parent Academy, the school offers interactive workshops on university planning, IB philosophy, and parenting — creating a platform for meaningful dialogue between educators and families.

On Open Day, visiting parents will have the opportunity to experience our interactive workshops first-hand, stepping into the role of an “ISA Parent Learner” to feel the authentic atmosphere of inquiry and collaboration.
