PSHE stands for Personal, Social, Health and Economic Education. But what does that truly mean for your child? It is a vital school subject designed to equip them with the knowledge, skills, and attributes they need to thrive as individuals, both now and in the future.

PSHE代表个人、社会、健康与经济教育。那么，这对孩子们究竟意味着什么呢？它是一门重要课程，帮助学生掌握当下及未来人生发展所需的知识、技能与综合素养。

Think of PSHE as the framework that helps children understand themselves and their place in the world. Its core is built around three essential pillars: Health and Wellbeing, Relationships, and Living in the Wider World. Ultimately, it's a practical subject focused on preparing students for the real world, helping them stay safe and healthy, build strong relationships, and develop the resilience and character to navigate life's challenges and opportunities with confidence.

PSHE为孩子们提供了一个认识自我与世界的整体框架，围绕着三个核心板块构建：健康与福祉、人际关系以及社会生存能力。PSHE课程注重实践，帮助学生为现实生活做好准备，助力他们保持安全与健康、建立深厚情谊、培养坚韧品格，从而能够自信从容地应对人生的挑战与机遇。

A new curriculum is only as strong as its implementation. To ensure its success, we began by providing comprehensive training for all our staff before the academic year. We also hosted a dedicated PSHE Parent College to share information and build a strong school-to-home partnership.

一套新课程的成功，关键在于有效落实。为此，我们在学年开始前就为全体教职员工提供了系统培训，并专门开设了PSHE家长课堂，旨在与家长分享课程信息，共同构建坚实的家校合作纽带。

Our commitment to communication continues with monthly newsletters sent home, informing you of the topics and skills your child will be learning each month. In the classroom, your child’s homeroom teacher, who knows them best, will teach the Second Step programme twice a month and reinforce the Kelso’s Choice tools regularly. The Keeping Safe curriculum is taught by our specially trained experts, ensuring the most sensitive topics are handled with the utmost care and professionalism.

We introduced this curriculum to take a proactive approach. Our goal is to intentionally equip our children with the essential soft skills, conflict resolution strategies, and emotional intelligence that will prepare them not just for the next grade, but for society itself. Our foundational programmes give every student the tools to thrive.
