Our last Little Learners session of the year was all about celebrating the season. Toddlers and parents joined together for a morning of stories, play, and creativity.
Mrs Danielle started with a favourite holiday book, Dear Santa by Rod Campbell. The children listened closely, curious about what Santa might bring. After the story, the classroom came alive with activity. Children made Christmas cards, explored soft cinnamon cloud dough, and painted candy-cane patterns using sponges and stamps. There was plenty of laughter during the stocking pull game, where holiday treasures were waiting to be found.
These activities were more than fun. They were designed to help children develop fine motor skills, improve focus, and build emotional security through shared experiences. Colours, textures, and scents sparked curiosity and attention.

Learning doesn’t stop here. At home, simple festive activities make a big difference. Bake cookies together and let your child scoop, press, or sprinkle. Read holiday books to grow language skills. Or create a “holiday treasure basket” with ribbons, pinecones, and bells for endless exploration.
Our Little Learners programme is more than play—it’s the perfect first step into a school routine, helping toddlers feel confident and connected.

We wish all our Little Learners families a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 2026. See you in January for another exciting term!
