学长学姐面对面 | “走进初中”主题班会：一场关于成长的温暖对话 A Warm Talk！

清晨的阳光洒进华外校园，本周华外小学六年级的升旗仪式有些不同——同学们齐聚一堂，迎接一场特别的“走进初中”主题班会。面对即将到来的初中生活，他们眼中既有期待，也有小小的忐忑。为此，学校特邀八、九年级的学长学姐们走上讲台，用亲身经历为他们描绘初中生活的真实画卷。

Under the morning sun at HW, sixth graders gathered for a special "Stepping into Middle School" class. With both excitement and nervousness about the transition, eighth and ninth graders took the stage to share authentic stories of middle school life.

“初中是一座充满惊喜的新校园，既是童年的终点，也是青春的起点。”八年级的郑浩东、焦乘易和陈晓绮用温暖的开场，勾勒出初中生活的美好轮廓。在他们的分享里，华外的中学生活会遇见亲切的老师、志同道合的朋友，更会解锁历史、地理、生物等新奇学科，每一步都藏着成长的密码。

"Middle school is a campus of surprises—where childhood ends and adolescence begins." With this warm opening, eighth graders Zheng, Jiao, and Chen sketched a vivid portrait of middle school life. They shared how HWFLS brings kind teachers, like-minded friends, and new subjects like history and biology—each step a key to growth.

同样来自八年级的江怡彤、杜炜笛和徐天一，一站上讲台就带着各自独特的光，生动诠释了“学业与特长共同生长”的可能。江怡彤从容分享着主持与书法如何教会她“表达与沉淀”；杜炜笛则讲述摄影、古筝和空手道让她学会规划与坚持；徐天一作为国家二级运动员，回忆自己如何用“学习爱好双计划表”，在帆船训练与七门功课之间找到平衡。他们用自己的经历说明：——在华外，你不必成为单一的样子，每一面都可以被看见、被支持。

Also from eighth grade, Jiang, Du, and Xu took the stage, each shining with unique light. Jiang shared how hosting and calligraphy taught her expression and composure; Du explained how photography, guzheng, and karate built discipline; Xu, a national-level athlete, balanced sailing and academics with a “dual-plan schedule.” Together, they showed that at HW, every side of you can be seen and supported.

八年级的苍涵岳和方语菲则带着“街舞与学业齐飞”的自信登场。作为校街舞队成员，她们多次在省市级比赛中获奖，更坦言“特长能为升学与奖学金加分”。她们用行动证明了在华外，每个人都能找到属于自己的舞台。

Eighth graders Cang and Fang shared how street dance and academics thrive together. As award-winning team members, they noted that talents support both studies and scholarships—proof that at HW, every student finds their stage.

如果说初中生活是一本未打开的书，那么学长学姐们的分享，就像提前标注好的书签与批注。“初中不仅是知识的进阶，更是从依赖走向自律的成长。”九年级的郭君泊和肖彦菲从学习、心理、社交等多维度，剖析了小学到初中的蜕变。他们与学弟学妹探讨了如何选择一所适合自己的中学，并提醒大家：“不要为了一味追随‘好学校’，而给自己营造过大的压力，适合自己的学校才是最好的学校。”

 "Middle school means not only academic growth, but also moving from dependence to self-discipline," said ninth graders Guo and Xiao, who explored the transition from learning to social life. They reminded younger students: "Don’t just follow ‘good schools’—find what truly fits you."

八年级的刘昊霖和杨耀崴则像两位贴心的校园向导，将宝贵的“初中生活注意事项”娓娓道来——从如何安排作息才能在课业与休息间找到平衡，到怎样处理宿舍关系才能营造温暖的共同生活空间。每一个细节背后，都凝结着他们从亲身经历中提炼出的智慧，更浸润着学长学姐对学弟学妹们最真挚的关怀。

Eighth graders Liu and Yang served as thoughtful guides, sharing “Tips for Middle School Life”—from balancing study and rest to building a warm dorm community. Each tip reflected their lived experience and genuine care for younger students at HW.

许胤彧和刘沐轩精心整理了一份详实的“学科衔接指南”，悉心拆解了从小学到初中不同学科的学习脉络，又该如何在新增学科中找到属于自己的学习节奏。这份指南不只是一张纸、几句话，而是一个装满方法与信心的“成长工具箱”，为即将迈入初中的学弟学妹们，点亮了一盏温暖而实用的前行灯。

Xu and Liu carefully prepared a "Subject Transition Guide," breaking down how to shift from primary to middle school learning and find your pace in new subjects. More than just notes, it's a "growth toolkit" filled with methods and confidence—a warm, practical light for younger students stepping into middle school at HW.

九年级的姚梓阳和李长熙，则通过一张张定格时光的活动照片——长沙研学路上求索的目光、运动会赛道冲刺的瞬间、誓师大会上紧握的拳头、校园夜色中温暖的灯光——将华外中学“学在窗外、万物皆课”的教育理念，化作一幕幕鲜活的成长图景，让学弟学妹们看见：在这里，学习不只发生在教室里，更在每一次出发、每一次参与、每一次用心感受的生活之中。

Ninth graders Yao and Li shared photos of research trips, sports races, pledge ceremonies, and campus nights—bringing HW’s “learning beyond the classroom” to life. They showed that here, learning happens in every experience, not just in class.

这不仅仅是一场经验分享，更是一次精神的传递。学长学姐们用自己的故事，悄悄在六年级同学心中种下三颗种子：

一颗关于平衡的种子：学业与爱好、个人与集体、理想与现实，皆可兼得。

一颗关于选择的种子：适合自己的道路，才是最好的成长路径。

一颗关于勇气的种子：初中虽有挑战，但你从不孤单！

More than advice—it’s a passing of spirit. Seniors planted three seeds in sixth graders: Balance(studies & passion can coexist), Choice (your path is your growth), and Courage (you’re never alone in middle school).

正如班会开场词中所说：“希望通过今天这节课，大家能对初中生活有更清晰的认识，收获不一样的感悟。”当掌声一次次响起，当举手提问的身影愈发踊跃，我们看见的不仅是知识的传递，更是华外学子之间温暖而有力的连接。

As the class began: “May today bring clarity and fresh insight into middle school life.” With each round of applause and every raised hand, we saw not just knowledge shared, but warm and lasting bonds formed among HW students.

从“小学的我”到“初中的我”，或许只是一步之遥，却需要足够的勇气与准备。而今天，这群少年用真诚的分享，为学弟学妹们搭起了一座桥——桥的这头是好奇与期待，桥的那头是自信与绽放。

每一次出发，都有光照亮。

From primary to middle school—just a step, yet it takes courage. Today, these students built a bridge for their younger peers: from curiosity to confidence, from expectation to growth. At HW, no one walks alone. Every journey finds its echo; every step is met with light.
