The three-day Bio-Tech Camp offered an interdisciplinary, immersive learning experience. Children were no longer mere visitors - they became “little discoverers,” equipped with curiosity and keen observation.

Here, children listened to engaging explanations about genes.
They observed the order of the microscopic world with their eyes and approached science through questions: “Do all cells look the same?” “How many of these ‘tiny rooms’ are in our bodies?”

In these interactions, science became a tangible journey of discovery rather than distant knowledge.

At Baidu’s campus, children observed autonomous vehicles perceiving their environment and responding in real time.
They described what they saw: “Is that spinning ‘eye’ looking at the road?” “Does the car remember every path it has taken?” These observations and questions naturally sparked logical thinking and language skills.

From rooftop garden ecosystems to turning kitchen waste into resources, children explored the meaning of circulation through hands-on activities.
They also experienced how technology can assist ecological exploration: interacting with robots and robotic dogs, and using digital microscopes to observe microorganisms in soil and water.

At the insect museum, they quietly observed insect forms and behaviours, creating butterfly specimens themselves and appreciating biodiversity.
Sustainability became not just a concept, but an intuitive understanding that everything can be reused.

In the aquarium, children followed guides to learn about marine life and their interdependencies. Gazing through glass at swimming schools of fish, they gained knowledge and developed respect and empathy for living creatures.

Throughout the journey, technology, ecology, and life education intertwined. Children learned to observe, question, and express themselves in real-world contexts, laying the foundation for cross-disciplinary thinking.

Meanwhile, the Space Explorers Winter Camp transformed the kindergarten into an interactive, creative “cosmic laboratory.” Children explored the sky and planets through play, art, and experiments.

Through bilingual picture books such as The Astronaut Mouse and How to Catch a Star, children learned about planets, astronauts, and the mysteries of the universe.
Stories sparked imagination, enhanced language skills, and nurtured cultural awareness, while shared reading and discussions encouraged listening and expression.

From scratch art of the eight planets to designing paper rockets and constructing three-dimensional solar systems, art became a medium for expressing knowledge.
Arranging planets and adjusting rockets naturally incorporated observation, comparison, and logical organisation skills.

Children shaped planetary landscapes in a miniature cosmic sandbox, using magnetic sand to simulate craters and mountains. Through role-play as the Sun, Earth, and Moon, they felt motion and rotation physically, making abstract concepts tangible.

Visits to Space Museum and AI Space Base deepened children’s understanding in real aerospace environments. Handling models and participating in simulated missions, they connected knowledge with experience and discovered the value of teamwork.

Whether venturing into the city’s technological and ecological landscapes or exploring the universe within the kindergarten, children grew through the cycle of observe—try—express.

At BKIK, we focus on providing children with diverse, authentic, and meaningful learning experiences, allowing education to unfold naturally through engagement. Every activity helps children build understanding, develop skills, and cultivate emotions.
We believe that these seemingly light moments of exploration are what ultimately form the firm footprints leading them into the future.
