当科学探究遇见动手实践,当传统文化融合前沿科技,华外同文外国语学校小学部科技主题 PBL 成果展圆满落幕!从一二年级的创意搭建到三四五年级的深度探究,孩子们循着“感知—探究—创造—展示”的路径,在趣味实践中解锁多元技能,收获满满成长。
Where scientific inquiry meets hands-on practice, and tradition integrates with technology, HW Tongwen Elementary's STEM PBL exhibition concluded successfully. Students from Grades 1–5 followed the path of "Perception – Exploration – Creation – Presentation," gaining skills and growth through engaging projects.

一二年级的小朋友们用双手搭建专属奇妙世界,创意值直接拉满!
Grades 1–2 built their own imaginative worlds.
一年级有的班级玩转 “编程 + 音乐”,用 mini 板编写程序,搭配乐高积木打造仿真乐器与舞台,精准奏响动人旋律,编程文档与演示方案样样齐全;有的班级化身 “校园设计师”,推出安静小哨兵、水温小护士等智能小管家,让科技贴心服务校园日常。
First graders combined coding and music, using mini-boards and LEGO to create simulated instruments and stages, complete with programs and plans. Others designed smart campus helpers like the Quiet Sentinel and Water Temperature Nurse.




二年级有的搭建“古代智慧三件套”舂米机、石磨机和传送带,模拟脱粒的舂米机、转动研磨的石磨机及运送物料的传送带,生动展示机械原理;有的聚焦智能驾驶与未来社区,用MEGO小车编程搭配乐高城市场景,还原交通环境与社区功能。编程与乐高精准联动,奏响多首曲目;智能装置贴合校园与生活需求,实用性与创意性兼备;积木搭建还原机械原理与社区功能,孩子们在分工协作中提升动手能力、空间想象力,感受团队力量与科技乐趣。
Second graders constructed an "Ancient Wisdom Trio"—a rice huller, millstone, and conveyor belt—to demonstrate mechanical principles. Some focused on smart driving and future communities, programming MEGO cars with LEGO cityscapes. Through teamwork, they developed hands-on skills, spatial thinking, and an appreciation for collaboration and technology.









三年级围绕《天气》主题,以7人小组为单位,经历“查阅资料设计观测方案→实验测量天气数据→整理分析数据→成果展示”的完整流程,融合科学、语文、英语、美术等多学科元素,系统学习气温、降水、风向等天气要素。运用风旗、雨量器等工具开展实验,精准记录连续数据;主题展板多维呈现探究过程与科学原理;展示日当天更精彩,中英文结合的原理讲解、天气主题英文歌曲、古诗词表演轮番上阵,甚至现场模拟降雪,在趣味实践中既掌握了科学知识,又提升了表达与协作能力。
Third grade explored "Weather" in groups of seven. They researched, designed observation plans, measured data, analyzed results, and presented their findings. Integrating science, language, and art, they studied temperature, precipitation, and wind direction using tools like wind flags and rain gauges. Display boards showcased their process, and on presentation day, they gave bilingual explanations, performed songs and poetry, and even simulated snowfall—gaining both knowledge and presentation skills.





四年级声音探索者——以“制作能发声的乐器并阐释科学原理”为驱动问题,融合多学科内容,经历“启动探究—设计制作—优化完善—公开展示”四阶段,深入理解声音的产生、传播与特性。创作出水瓶琴、创意小鼓等四类乐器,直观呈现声学原理;双语展板系统化展示探究历程,学生在中英文讲解与乐器演奏中,提升科学素养与表达能力。
Fourth Grade Sound Explorers tackled the challenge: "Make an instrument and explain how it works." Through stages of research, design, optimization, and presentation, they learned how sound is made and travels. They created instruments like water bottle xylophones and drums, displayed their work bilingually, and explained the science behind them.






十二生肖镂空铃铛——以生肖为灵感,用LaserMaker软件设计轮廓与镂空花纹,经激光切割后手工组装,将传统文化与科技力量相融合。作品兼具文化性与观赏性,金属铃铛边缘光滑、声响清脆,实现视觉与听觉双重体验,让学生在实践中感受科技赋能传统的独特魅力。
Chinese Zodiac Hollowed-out Bells: Using LaserMaker software, students designed and cut metal bells inspired by zodiac animals. The finished pieces combined cultural meaning with technical skill, producing clear chimes and smooth finishes.





五年级以“计时工具发展史”为主题,设计“溯源—探究—创造—展示”学习路径,学生梳理从日晷、水钟到原子钟的发展脉络,动手制作实物模型,开展对比实验探究不同工具的原理与优劣。沉浸式探究让科学可视化,实物模型可直观感受光影变化与水流计时;跨学科融合数学、工程、历史、艺术知识,构建立体认知网络;小组合作贯穿全程,学生在古今对话中体会科学进步,培养沟通能力与抗挫能力。
Fifth Grade studied "The History of Timekeeping." They traced the development from sundials and water clocks to atomic clocks, built working models, and compared how different tools work. Hands-on models made concepts tangible. The project wove together math, engineering, history, and art, building a 3D cognitive network. Teamwork throughout helped students appreciate scientific progress while building communication skills and resilience.
