Learning Journey at BKIK | 探秘学习之旅，共赴成长之约

Guided by our mission statement, “The BKIK family develops lifelong learners who strive to make a positive impact in the global community,” we aim to build strong foundations for learning while encouraging children to grow as caring members of the world.

This event gave parents a valuable opportunity to visit the school, observe our teaching practices, and take part in the learning experiences that our students engage in every day.

秉持 “家园共育终身学习者，助力孩子为全球社区创造正向价值”的办园使命，BKIK始终深耕探究式学习，让幼儿在好奇中探索、在体验中成长。

本次学习之旅，正是为了让家长拨开教学的神秘面纱，直观看见孩子在园的学习过程与成长蜕变。

The purpose of the Learning Journey was to strengthen the partnership between school and home by allowing parents to see the learning process in action.

Families were invited to observe lessons and participate in activities alongside their children, gaining insight into how we explore topics, develop skills, and build understanding through purposeful play and inquiry.

活动中，家长们化身同行者，走进课堂与孩子并肩参与各类活动，真切感受园所如何通过有目的的游戏与探究，引导幼儿探索主题、培养能力、建构认知，深刻理解IB PYP教育理念下“以幼儿为中心”的教学本质。

Throughout the Learning Journey, parents had the chance to observe how BKIK supports language development through engaging literacy teaching. They watched students learn English literacy and phonics through a blend of BKIK's Phonics and play-based strategies, making early reading and writing meaningful and fun.

在语言领域，家长们亲眼见证了趣味化的英语启蒙课堂——孩子们借助天启自然拼读法与游戏化策略，轻松解锁英语读写与自然拼读技能，让原本枯燥的启蒙学习变得生动有趣、富有意义。

Parents also observed students exploring their Units of Inquiry, where learning centres were designed to be transdisciplinary, connecting subjects through hands-on learning experiences. 

These activities reflect the IB PYP approach, encouraging students to ask questions, explore ideas, and learn through inquiry.

超学科探究单元活动中，跨学科融合的学习中心更是让人眼前一亮。

园所打破传统学科界限，以动手实践的体验式学习，让幼儿在操作中实现知识的串联与迁移，充分践行IB PYP大胆提问、主动探究的核心教育主张。

A highlight of the event was seeing how BKIK collaborates with specialist teachers to enrich the inquiry process.

本次活动的一大亮点，是专科教师与常规教学的深度联动，为幼儿的探究学习注入多元活力。

Energetic P.E. lessons supported children in developing coordination through active movement and physical play.

活力满满的体能课，在运动中锻炼协调性。

Warm and welcoming library reading sessions invited children to discover wonderful worlds through picture books, nurturing a love for stories and imagination.

温馨的图书馆阅读课，在绘本中邂逅奇妙世界。

Creative music lessons used melody and rhythm to awaken children’s artistic awareness and appreciation.

创意音乐课，用旋律唤醒艺术感知。

Our Cantonese enrichment lessons introduced children to the beauty of the local language, supporting early language development while celebrating and passing on local cultural heritage.

特色粤语启蒙课，传承本土文化魅力。

Through the Enrichment Programme, parents were able to clearly see how learning around a single theme can extend across multiple subject areas, allowing children’s understanding to deepen through meaningful, cross-disciplinary exploration.

专科课程让家长清晰感受到，一个主题的学习可以延伸至多个领域，让幼儿的认知在跨界探索中不断深化。

Parents also viewed the visible thinking displayed throughout the school, including inquiry cycles showing student learning and progress.

校园各处的思维可视化成果展示，成为了孩子们的“成长勋章”——探究循环图谱清晰记录着每一步学习与进步。

Students proudly guided their parents through displays, sharing knowledge gained from their current units and demonstrating confidence as communicators.

孩子们满怀自豪地牵着家长的手，逐一讲解自己的作品与所学，自信的表达、清晰的逻辑，展现出IB学习者的卓越风采，让家长们倍感欣慰与骄傲。

Overall, the Learning Journey was a wonderful way to involve parents in the educational process and strengthen our school community.

一场学习之旅，是家校信任的双向奔赴，更是教育温度的传递。本次活动不仅让家长更深入地了解了BKIK的教育理念与教学实践，更凝聚了家校共育的强大力量。

We would like to thank our teachers and staff for their hard work, and our parents for their enthusiasm and support throughout this special event.
