看萌娃玩转数学 | 华外小学部数学PBL成果展 PBL Exhibition

当数学跳出课本,遇上创意实践,会碰撞出怎样的火花?学期末,华外小学部数学PBL 项目成果展精彩落幕!从一年级到六年级,孩子们以数学知识为钥匙,解锁生活中的难题,用充满巧思的作品,展现 “做中学、学中创” 的无限可能,让数学的魅力惊艳全场。

The  Math PBL Project Exhibition at HW Primary Department concluded with great success! From Grade 1 to Grade 6, students used math as a key to solve real-life problems, demonstrating endless possibilities of "learning by doing, creating through learning" with their ingenious works.

刚踏入小学的萌娃们,化身小建筑师、导航员与测量员,在自然探索中玩转数学。他们观察立体图形的特征,用积木搭建出创意造型;辨别方位、计算楼层间隔,把抽象的数学概念变成看得见、摸得着的实践,开启对数学世界的好奇之旅。

The youngest students became architects, navigators, and surveyors during nature exploration. They observed 3D shapes, built creative structures with blocks, and practiced direction and measurement—turning abstract concepts into tangible experiences.


“如何科学测量二楼到一楼的距离?”“怎样制作兼具厨房器具功能与护蛋效果的作品?” 带着这些问题,二年级学子以小组为单位,开启跨学科挑战。他们用米尺、卷尺实地勘测,熟练掌握 “米” 的知识,还学会 “接力测量”“多次测量取平均值” 的科学方法;制作护蛋器具时,结合美术设计与劳动实践,将数学测量与科学缓冲原理完美融合,每一件作品都藏着严谨的数学思维。

“How to scientifically measure the height from the second floor to the first?” “How to design a device that also functions as a kitchen tool?” Grade 2 students worked in groups to solve these challenges. They used rulers and tape measures, mastered the concept of "meters," and applied methods like relay measurement and averaging. Integrating art and practical skills, they combined measurement with cushioning principles in their designs.


学习《曹冲称象》时,三年级学生对度量衡产生浓厚兴趣。他们搜集战国时期各国多样的度量衡资料,探究秦始皇统一度量衡的意义,还动手制作简易天平,亲身体验度量的乐趣。成果展示中,他们分模块讲解度量衡故事,穿插 “成语中的质量单位” 有奖问答,让数学知识与历史文化碰撞出精彩火花。

After learning "How Cao Chong Weighed an Elephant," Grade 3 students explored ancient measurement systems. They researched Warring States period units, discussed Qin Shi Huang’s unification of weights and measures, and made simple balances. Their presentations included stories and quizzes on measurement idioms.


围绕 “低碳生活” 主题,四年级学生将数学条形统计图知识学以致用。他们收集家庭、各省乃至各国的碳排放量数据,分类整理后绘制统计图表,精准分析不同场景的碳排差异。展区内,图文并茂的低碳手抄报、创意十足的条形统计图立体模型,不仅展现了对数学知识的熟练运用,更让低碳理念深植于心。

Focusing on "low-carbon living," Grade 4 students applied bar graph skills to real data. They collected carbon emission figures from households, provinces, and countries, then created charts and models to visualize differences, deepening their understanding of sustainability.


五年级学子有两大精彩项目!一是布艺拼贴创作,他们用布料拼出含 3 种以上基本图形的贴画与茶杯垫,还精准计算每幅作品的布料总面积,让数学计算与手工创意无缝衔接;二是 “智慧农场主” 实践,在 45㎡的梯形菜地里,他们规划种植区、给作物建档,计算成本与收益,把梯形面积计算等数学知识变成 “种地技能”,在田间地头收获数学的实用价值。

Grade 5 featured two projects: textile art using geometric shapes with area calculations, and "Smart Farmer" planning—designing a 45㎡ trapezoidal field, tracking crops, and calculating costs and profits, applying trapezoid area formulas in practice.


“为什么不同跑道的起跑线不一样?” 六年级学生化身 “小小测量师”,测量跑道宽度、弯道半径,通过推导 “相邻跑道起跑线间距 = 2×π× 跑道宽度”,算出公平起跑的精准距离,让圆的周长公式不再是枯燥的字母。此外,他们还聚焦 “绿电城市” 建设,统计能源数据、设计绿电使用方案,用数学知识解决城市规划中的实际问题,展现出超强的逻辑推理与实践能力。

"Why do different tracks have different starting lines?" Grade 6 students measured track width and curve radius, using the formula 2×π×width to ensure fair races. They also analyzed energy data to design "green electricity" city plans, solving real-world problems with math.



本次数学 PBL 成果展,不仅是各年级的特色展示,更体现了华外 “跨学科融合” 的教育理念。每个项目都打破学科边界,数学与科学、美术、劳动、历史等学科知识联动,形成完整的学习网络。孩子们在自主探究、小组协作中,不仅巩固了数学知识,更提升了动手操作、逻辑推理、创新思维与解决实际问题的能力。

This exhibition reflects HW’s interdisciplinary approach. Projects connected math with science, art, history, and more, fostering hands-on skills, logical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
