The moment children step onto campus, learning begins within each small interaction. On the first day, we handed the classroom back to them.
Sitting together in a circle, they shared moments from their holidays and worked collaboratively to establish their essential agreements.
当孩子们踏入校园,教育便在每一个细微的互动中悄然发生。开学第一天,我们把课室还给孩子。大家围坐在一起,分享假期的点滴趣事,更一同参与班级公约的讨论与制定。





At BKIK, essential agreements are not imposed by teachers; they are shaped and upheld collectively by the children. This is an important step in their growth as community members, as they exercise their rights to Choice and Voice.
在天启,班级公约从不是老师的单向要求,而是孩子们共同商议、共同遵守的约定。这是他们作为社区一员,行使“选择权(Choice)”与“参与权(Voice)”的珍贵开始。

K3 and K2 students experimented with recording emotions through symbols, while K1 and Pre-K children rediscovered belonging through hugs and sharing. Such natural social development holds a vitality far beyond the simple transmission of knowledge.
中、大班的孩子们尝试用符号记录情绪,小班与小小班的孩子们在拥抱和分享找回归属感。这种社会性的自然生长,比任何知识的灌输都更具有生命力。



March marks both the start of a new term and the launch of BKIK’s Reading Month. We see reading not as an isolated language practice, but as an open journey of thought.
Throughout the week, a culture of reading has gently infused the campus. From awe at nature to curiosity about the universe, books have become bridges across time and space.
三月,既是新学期的起点,也是天启“阅读月”的正式启航。我们相信,阅读不只是孤立的语言习得,而是思维的无界旅行。
本周,阅读的氛围如细雨般浸润校园。从对自然的敬畏到浩瀚星系的向往,书本成为孩子们跨越时空、连接世界的桥梁。



In upcoming activities inspired by Dr Seuss, children will dive into the silliness and boundless imagination of stories and storytelling through drama, character portrayal, and playful creative environments.
As they act out scenes and share their favourite moments, they will practise putting their ideas into words—talking about what made them laugh, what surprised them, and what they noticed about the characters’ choices and feelings.
在即将到来的读书月苏斯博士主题活动中,孩子们将通过戏剧表演、角色演绎与充满童趣的创意情境,沉浸在故事里无厘头的趣味与无限的想象之中。
他们在演绎故事情节、分享自己最喜爱的片段时,会练习把想法清晰表达出来——说说什么让他们开怀大笑、什么让他们感到惊喜,以及他们观察到的角色选择与内心感受。


We hope this joyful habit of reflection—sparked by stories and carried into everyday conversations—will stay with them for life.

While we looks outward, we are equally committed to nurturing each child’s cultural identity. As the Lantern Festival coincided with our transdisciplinary Unit of Inquiry (UOI), tradition blended naturally with learning.
Through shaping tangyuan and listening to the creation myth of Pangu, children encountered the depth and warmth of Chinese civilisation.
