你看，爱在这里从来不是一个名词。

它不停留在理念里，不悬浮在口号中。它落在清晨七点的校门口，落在共读时翻动的书页间，落在跨越山水的图书包裹上，落在一个个具体的行动里。

在这里，爱是动词。我们是主语。

Love is not a noun. It doesn’t linger in ideas or slogans. It lands at the school gate at 7 a.m., between pages turned in shared reading, in book parcels crossing mountains and rivers—in concrete actions.

近期，华外同文外国语学校被广东省家庭教育研究会授予“广东省家庭教育公益典范单位”称号，校家委会会长陈林女士也同时获评“广东省家庭教育公益典范志愿者”。这份来自省内家庭教育领域权威机构的认可，是对我们一路同行的回望与确认。

就在上周，新学期的校家委会温暖相聚。一年级、七年级的新家委们正式签约受聘，温柔而坚定地上岗了。从这天起，他们又多了一个身份——学校合伙人、孩子后援团、家校连心桥。华外始终相信，每一位用心陪伴的家长，都是我们最珍贵的“四有家长”：有时间，有爱心，有担当，有格局。

Last week, the new-semester PTA meeting gathered. New members from Grades 1 and 7 were formally appointed—gently yet firmly stepping into their roles as school partners, children’s back-up, and home-school bridges. HW believes every dedicated parent is a “Four-Have Parent”: time, love, responsibility, and vision.

清晨的护学岗，志愿者马甲的身影总会准时出现。一位爸爸值完班说：“站在这里才明白，原来我的孩子每天被这么多人，以这样安静的方式用心爱着。”车流里的挥手，雨天的伞，一句“小心看路”——这些寻常的动作，就是爱最具体的模样。

Morning volunteer posts appear on time. One dad said: “Standing here, I see my child is quietly loved by so many every day.” A wave through traffic, an umbrella on a rainy day, a “watch your step”—these simple acts are love made tangible.

父母读书会里，灯光柔和，家长围坐共读。低年级的爸爸妈妈探讨情商与习惯，高年级和初中段的家长研读青春期心理、情绪陪伴。没有说教，只有书页翻动间，思想与思想的轻轻触碰。一位妈妈说：“读着读着，我发现更需要成长的，可能是我自己。”

家长进课堂的身影同样动人——他们把职业视野、生活智慧带给孩子。成长这件事，在这里从来不是孩子一个人的功课。

In the parent book club, soft lights and shared reading fill the room. Lower-grade parents explore EQ and habits; upper-grade and middle-school parents study adolescent psychology and emotional support. No preaching—just ideas meeting between pages. One mom said: “Reading, I realize I may be the one who needs to grow more.” Parents also bring their careers and life wisdom into classrooms. Growth here is never just the child’s task.

我们把这份在一起的温度，送往更远的地方。短短半个月，2066册图书从一个个家庭汇集，翻山越岭抵达五地乡村书屋；旧衣回收的包裹里，藏着孩子们手写的祝福卡片，为千里之外的寒冬捎去暖意。

连续六年的慈善义卖，累计筹款超过53万元，让“儿童友好空间”在远方的乡村扎下了根。数字是结果，而数字背后，是一个个家庭牵起手来，用善意点亮善意的过程。

We send our togetherness farther. In just half a month, 2,066 books from families reached five rural libraries. Old clothes collected carry children’s handwritten cards, bringing warmth to distant winters. Six years of charity fairs have raised over 530,000 yuan, building “child-friendly spaces” in remote villages. Numbers are results; behind them are families joining hands to light kindness with kindness.

学校用心搭建平台，家长全心融入其中。这里没有“你”和“我”的界限，只有“我们”的默契。这片土壤温柔而开放，孩子身在其中，感受到的是安全，是温暖，是被共同托举的力量。

The school builds platforms; parents engage fully. No “you” and “me,” only “we.” The soil is gentle and open. Children feel safe, warm, and held.
