蓄力新学年 静待少年归
夏末余温渐退，崭新学年即将开启。历经充实的暑假时光，校园已然悄然蓄力。从新生顺利完成入校注册，到教师团队深耕集体备课研讨，ASJ 天河校区各项开学筹备工作已圆满落地，满怀热忱静待学子归来。
Summer is drawing to a close, and the new school year is almost here. Over the past few weeks, ASJ Tianhe Campus has been a hive of activity—from new student registration and campus arrangements to collaborative lesson planning and teacher development. With the finishing touches now in place, we are looking forward to welcoming our students back.
一场崭新的相遇，就此启程。8月21日，天河校区迎来 2026 级新生注册。幼小部的新同学在家长陪同下踏入校园，有序完成报到流程；初中部新生依次签到注册，参与年级分班测评。羽毛球馆内，新生物资有序发放，一件件学习物资，承载着学校对新学期的美好期许。现场老师们耐心引导、细致服务，护航新生家庭顺利完成入学的第一道关卡，也开启了属于他们在 ASJ 的成长故事。
For our new students, the journey began on August 21, when ASJ Tianhe held registration for the 2026 intake.
Students joining the Early Years and Primary School arrived with their families and completed the registration process, while new Secondary School students checked in and took their year-group placement assessments. At the badminton hall, students and families also collected their welcome packs and learning materials. Teachers were there throughout the day to answer questions, offer guidance and help each family settle in. For many, it was their first experience of life at ASJ—and the beginning of a new chapter.
课堂之外，校园饮食保障亦是开学筹备的重要一环。8月26日下午，天河校区膳食部于食堂一层组织开展新学期新菜式试菜品鉴活动。管理及教师代表到场参与试餐，从口味、食材搭配、营养均衡度等多个维度，对新学期备选菜品进行实地体验。
Good school meals take plenty of thought, too.
On August 26, the Catering Department hosted a tasting session in the school canteen, inviting members of the management and teaching teams to try a selection of new dishes proposed for the coming school year.
大家现场交流反馈，围绕菜式丰富度、口味调整、学生就餐适配性积极建言献策。膳食部将结合收集到的意见迭代优化菜单，打磨菜品品质，力求为全体师生提供更健康、适口、多元的校园膳食，用心守护师生舌尖上的安全与美味。
The tasting was an opportunity to look beyond flavour. Teachers and staff shared their thoughts on ingredients, nutritional balance, variety and what would work best for students. Their feedback will help the Catering Department fine-tune the menu before the new term begins, ensuring that students and staff can enjoy meals that are nutritious, varied and suited to their needs.
讲台之上的精彩，藏在开学前每一次打磨之中。新学期开启前夕，我校开启备课研修周，PYP 与 MYP 学部有序开展教研筹备。
The work behind a good lesson often begins well before students return. In the lead-up to the new term, our school held a week of lesson planning and professional development, with the PYP and MYP teams working through their plans for the year ahead.
PYP 学部分年级组织幼儿园及一至六年级教师开展集体备课，教研组围绕新学期课程设计、教学活动、学情规划展开深度研讨，细致打磨课堂方案。MYP 学部开展跨学科单元设计集体备课教研，学科组长带领教师团队共同研讨跨学科单元规划，交流学年教学计划，推进跨学科课程联动落地。
PYP teachers from Kindergarten to Grade 6 worked in year-level teams to plan lessons, discussing curriculum design, classroom activities and students' learning needs for the new term. The MYP team focused on interdisciplinary unit planning, with subject leaders working with teachers to develop unit plans, share annual teaching plans and strengthen connections across subjects.
与此同时，《课堂管理原则与实践》专题培训同步开展。老师们围绕课堂建设、学生支持、班级互动等现实议题展开学习与交流，探讨如何构建包容有序的课堂氛围，思考怎样更好地关注不同学生的学习状态，把对学生的关怀融入日常教学细节，为开学后高质量的课堂教学夯实基础。
Teachers took part in a professional development session on Classroom Management: Principles and Practice as part of this wider preparation. The session explored classroom culture, student support and teacher-student interaction, with teachers sharing ideas on how to create learning environments that are inclusive, positive and well structured.
集团总顾问、暨大港澳子弟学校总顾问、前香港特区教育局局长杨润雄在维港教育集团首席运营官、广州暨大港澳子弟学校执行理事封岩的陪同下到访校区，实地熟悉校园环境，全面了解办学硬件、教学布局及 2026-2027 学年开学筹备进度。后续他将依托丰富的教育从业经验，为学校办学发展提供专业顾问支持。
Mr Yang Runxiong, Senior Consultant to Weigang Education Group and to Jinan University Hong Kong and Macao Children's School, and former Secretary for Education of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, visited ASJ Tianhe accompanied by Ms Feng Yan, Chief Operating Officer of Weigang Education Group and Executive Director of Guangzhou Jinan University Hong Kong and Macao Children’s School. During the visit, Mr Yang toured the campus and learned more about its facilities, teaching spaces and preparations for the 2026-27 academic year. The school looks forward to drawing on his experience in education as it continues to develop.
开学前夕，维港教育集团副总裁、广州暨大港澳子弟学校党支部书记林莉，维港教育集团首席财务官周健华一行赴天河校区，实地检查新学期开学筹备工作。检查组巡查校园重点区域，调研新生接待、教学场地、食堂后勤等工作，听取校区课程规划、师资建设情况汇报，肯定各项筹备成效，并就新学期办学保障、学生服务工作提出指导意见。
Ahead of the new school year, Lin Li, Vice President of Weigang Education Group and Party Branch Secretary of Guangzhou Jinan University Hong Kong and Macao Children's School, and Kent Zhou, Chief Financial Officer of Weigang Education Group, visited ASJ Tianhe to review preparations for the new term. They toured key areas of the campus, such as the reception area, teaching facilities and the canteen, and received updates on curriculum planning and faculty development. They also provided guidance on school operations and student support for the new academic year.
镜头定格的，是看得见的忙碌；镜头未及的，是默默发光的坚守。校园各项筹备工作已全部就位。教案打磨完毕，教学空间调试完成，食堂菜单也在持续优化完善。我们静候全体学子重返校园，共同奔赴 2026-2027 学年的崭新旅程。
What the camera captures is the visible bustle of the final preparations. What it does not capture is the quiet dedication behind them. The campus is ready for the new school year. Lesson plans have been refined, teaching spaces are set, and the canteen menu continues to be fine-tuned. Now, we look forward to seeing our students back on campus and beginning the 2026–2027 academic year together.
