On July 5, 2024, the ASJ Primary School Football Team went to the Hong Kong Jockey Club Sha Tin Racecourse to take part in the "St. John's - Celebrating the Return of Hong Kong" Hong Kong Futsal Invitational Tournament and Greater Bay Area Sports Exchange.
At the invitation of St. John's Catholic Primary School in Shili (Sister school), ASJ students were invited to participate in the Invitational Football Tournament. The players experienced first-hand the strong atmosphere of the Bay Area Football League, realized the connotation and value of the activities in the context of the Greater Bay Area, understood the substance and essence of the exchange of sports in the Greater Bay Area, and learned about the sports culture of the Bay Area.

ASJ Primary School Football Varsity Team arrived at the Hong Kong Shatin Racecourse Portland Gathering. The host of the event organized the team and gave a speech for the event, explaining the rules as well as the flow of the event, and the ASJ players marched towards the championship with passion.
Each team member was in high spirits and wanted to play well in the game to add honor to ASJ. After encouragement and tactical arrangements from the team leaders Alex and Leo, the game officially started.
In the group game, both players gave their best, their running figures and resolute eyes made this soccer match climax and exciting.
At the end of each game, both players shook hands with each other to encourage and salute each other, the players have well embodied the sports spirit of "friendship first".

The ASJ Elementary School Varsity Soccer Team performed very well in this Greater Bay Area Sports Exchange Event. We came out with a winning record in the group stage and went all the way to win the Elite Division.
After the game, the two special guests of the event and the event advisor summarized all aspects of the Greater Bay Area Sports Exchange Activity and expressed their high hopes to all the teachers and students present for the joint development of sports in the Greater Bay Area.
