•Patricia holds an MA in Education from the University of Sunderland and a Master’s in leadership and management through the University of Bath. She has had over 20 years of experience in IB schools in Singapore, China and the United States. 

•Patricia has been an IB Workshop Leader, Schools Consultant and Site Visit Team Member for over 10 years. She is also an IBEN member. She believes that each child is unique, and high-quality education can unleash their potential. 

•Patricia has been in a leadership role for more than seven years. As a school leader, she has worked with people from diverse cultural backgrounds and has extensive experience in leading in a multicultural educational context. 

•During her time working in the US, Singapore and China, Patricia led innovation in curriculum design and developed an in-depth understanding of the needs of teachers in implementing IB curriculum and became immersed with the Western and Eastern National Curricula.

•Jeremiah is the Deputy Principal of Primary, and PYP Coordinator at ISA Liwan. Jeremiah has 18 years of teaching and school leadership experience and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education from Nanyang Technological University, a Master’s degree in Cross-cultural Communication from the University of Sydney and a Certificate in School Management and Leadership from Harvard Graduate School of Education.

 •Michelle holds a certificate upon completion for International Professional qualification for school leadership by University College London (UCL). She has more than 20 years of teaching experience in China and the United States.  

•Michelle led an International school to achieve the PYP authorization of the earliest group of schools in the Mainland of China. She is an IB workshop leader, school visit team member and school consultant for 10 years.  

•Michelle believes that a quality education provides endless possibilities for children, and ultimately develops them into active lifelong learners who can make a difference in the world beyond the classroom.

•With a rich and diverse career spanning 16 years, Tim has had the privilege of working in various public and private schools across Australia, gaining valuable experience in both classroom teaching and education management.  

•In 2017, Tim embarked on his journey with ISA. He worked across all grade levels in the primary programme and assumed several leadership responsibilities, serving as a subject coordinator. 

•Committed to lifelong learning, Tim is currently pursuing his PhD at James Cook University in Australia. His research focuses on international school policies and leadership, particularly emphasising international schools in China.

•Ms. Shirley has a bachelor’s degree in Primary and Junior Education from York University as well as a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Ryerson University.  

•Ms. Shirley has five years of teaching experience at the primary level as an English Homeroom teacher in China. She has also taught at private IB school in Canada. There she taught grades ranging from Junior Kindergartens to Grade 5 in various subjects. 

•She believes that in order for students to succeed and progress, communication and teamwork between all parties plays a vital role. She hopes to have a strong relationship with the students, parents, and community.

•Ms. Liu Ying graduated with a degree in Education from the Xi'an International Studies University. She has 12 years of teaching and classroom experience, specialising in IB education in a Chinese context, where she integrates the best aspects of Chinese learning with the IB curriculum framework. Ms. Liu is skilled at engaging students in exploring Chinese language and traditional culture through inquiry-based learning pedagogies.  

•Ms. Liu has developed a unique approach to Pinyin instruction and holds a personal patent for Pinyin learning cards. 

•Previously, Ms Liu served as the Chinese Curriculum Director at Boya International Education, leading a team in developing Chinese teaching curricula for grades one through six, she has earned a primary teaching certification, family counselling certificate and positive discipline teaching certificate.

•Mr. Michael brings with him a wealth of experience in the field of education. His global experiences have enriched his teaching and fostered a deep intercultural understanding. 

•While living and teaching in China, Michael has taught students aged from as young as 2 through to the age of 18. His experience covers educational leadership and teacher professional developing, assisting to train and develop over 20 teachers during his time in his previous roles.  

•He holds a Diploma in TESL and a Diploma in English Language Teaching Management from Trinity College London. 

•He recently completed his PGCE from the University of Cumbria. Having worked and travelled in many countries and worked with a diverse range of people, Michael has become adaptable in his teaching and his life.

•Ms. Jiang received her bachelor's degree from Shanghai International Studies University. She has seven years of teaching experience, having worked in international schools in Shanghai and Zhejiang. She has taught Chinese, mathematics, and Philosophy for Children. She has also been a homeroom teacher for several years. 

•Sherry has obtained many IB certificates, CAT1, CAT2, CAT3 and SAPERE Level1 Foundation Course in P4C.  

•She was awarded the "New Talented Teacher" at an international school in Zhejiang Province.

•Ms. Lisa was born and raised in Florida, USA. She graduated from the University of South Florida with a bachelor’s degree in marketing. She is an experienced teacher who has teaching licenses in primary education, ESOL K-12, reading K-12, and a TEFL/TESOL certification.  

•She not only has a passion for teaching but has extensive experience teaching the IB curriculum and the American curriculum, alongside four years of experience teaching international students in South Korea. She maintains a positive classroom environment that engages students, incorporates mutual respect, and provides cooperative learning opportunities. 

•She has experience teaching across all grade levels and loves to create a positive, fun, and engaging classroom environment.

•Ms. Wang graduated from the Education University of Hong Kong, majoring in Curriculum, Teaching and Assessment, and obtained the PGDE PYP (Chinese) teaching Certificate from the University of Hong Kong.  

•She is a registered teacher in Hong Kong, and with 10 years of teaching experience, she has worked in international schools in Hong Kong and an IB school in Guangzhou.  

•As the Chinese Homeroom Teacher and Head of Grade at a successful IB School, she was involved in the teaching and research of the Chinese Curriculum and the Unit of Inquiry (UOI) course.

•Ms. Kye-Ling graduated from the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), with a double degree in Bachelor of Education (Primary) and a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies. As part of the International Studies degree, she attended one year of in-country study at Zhejiang University, Hangzhou.  

•She was born in Canada, raised in Australia, and attended primary, secondary, and higher schools in Canada, Australia, Malaysia, and China, making her a truly global citizen with strong intercultural understanding. 

•She has over seven years of teaching experience as an Australian bilingual teacher and a primary homeroom teacher in one of the four bilingual government schools in NSW.

•Ms. Deng has six years of teaching experience in IB international schools as the main Chinese teacher, teaching students of different age groups from grades one to five. Ms. Deng is committed to researching the extent to which the Chinese National Curriculum can better integrated with the PYP primary school project curriculum.  

•She has won honors including Excellent Teacher in Lishui Town, Second Prize in the South China Sea District Early Childhood Transition Activity, Family Education Mentor, and IB Training Certificate.  

•Currently, she is pursuing a Master's degree in Education Management at South China Normal University, mastering the German language as a minor language and obtaining a PHD-4 German Level 4 certificate.

•Ms. Potter holds a Bachelor degree in Education, Early Childhood, from the University of Southern Queensland (USQ), Australia, specialising in Indonesian language and culture. She enhanced her expertise in second language learning by completing postgraduate studies in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages).  

•With an impressive 23 years of teaching experience in various Australian states and exposure to international schools in Malaysia, Ms. Potter is a highly esteemed educator. Her previous school, where she taught for 10 years, highly regards her as a dedicated teacher known for her balanced approach–fair, firm, and fun–creating an inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued and celebrated for their achievements.

•Mr. Chen has 11 years of teaching experience in both domestic and international schools, including 6 years of teaching as a Chinese homeroom teacher in IB schools and 2 years of teaching Chinese to foreign students in Nigeria. 

•He has been awarded honors such as Nanhai District Excellent Class Teacher, Nanhai District Excellent Teacher, Lishui Town Third Famous Teacher, and Third Prize of the International Class Designing Competition. 

•He is deeply committed to his students' learning and mental development. He values developing positive and constructive working relationships with all his students, and is keenly aware of their individual needs, adopting a personalized approach. He believes that 'teaching' and 'education' are inseparable, and this belief drives his continuous concern for his students' learning.

•Mr. Cole graduated from Swansea University in 2015 with a bachelor degree in Politics and International Relations. Following this he continued to build on his professional development by studying and successfully obtaining internationally recognised teaching qualifications.  

•In addition to obtaining his Post Graduate Certificate in Education from The University of Leicester, he has been awarded an International Specialist Educational Needs Coordinator qualification from Middlesex University. This award highlights his passion for supporting students of all abilities and demonstrates a strong commitment to ensure all students achieve their full potential. He has utilised these qualifications for over 7 years. He has experience teaching students from various backgrounds, which highlights his ability to adapt and respond to all students' learning needs.

•Ms. Liu graduated from the Hong Kong Education University with a master‘s degree in Chinese Studies (Language Education)。 She also holds bachelor's degrees in management, literature, and special education. She has been employed as a Chinese teacher, Dean of Students, and has been responsible for home-school cooperation projects in international schools in Hong Kong and Shenzhen.  

•Ms. Liu has 11 years of teaching experience and, for much of this time, has been engaged in the leadership of teaching in the PYP, MYP, IPC, IMYC, and IGCSE programmes. 

•Originally from Toronto, Mr. Ezrin is a committed lifelong learner who is always pursuing new learning opportunities; inquiry and reflection energize and inspire his teaching practice. 

•After completing a Bachelor of Education through the University of Toronto, Mr. Ezrin went on to teach at private and international schools in Taipei and Shenzhen. While pursuing his Master of Education from the University of Victoria, Mr. Ezrin further extended his knowledge and practice of language and literacy instruction. 

•This school year, Mr. Ezrin is excited to build a caring, inclusive classroom community of engaged, empowered learners who take agency and work collaboratively.

•Mrs. Li has been working in international schools for almost twelve years, with nine years of experience in teaching Chinese at ISA. She has extensive experience in teaching native and non-native Chinese at all levels of primary school. She has worked as a Chinese teacher and Chinese Coordinator at ISA Tianhe School.  

•Mrs. Li holds a Bachelor of Arts degree and an IB training certificate. She has been awarded the Outstanding Instructor Award in the Junior Writing Cup, the Outstanding Instructor Award in the World Chinese Essay Writing Competition, and the title of “Outstanding Teacher” in ISA. As a member of the founding team of ISA Tianhe School, she has been exploring how to combine the IB philosophy with the local Chinese National Curriculum and actively developing and integrating school-based teaching materials. Mrs. Li has shared examples of exemplary Chinese teaching units and teaching experiences in international education forums at home and abroad.

•Ms. Hong has a Master of Education degree from the Department of Education of New Jersey College and was honoured to join the ISA Liwan family in July 2022. For the past 11 years, she has worked as a Chinese teacher in three international schools. The international working environment not only allows her to understand multiculturalism better, while also broadens her educational horizons, which will guide ISA students to become active, inquiring, knowledgeable, thoughtful and open-minded global citizens. 

•She believes that a qualified teacher should not only help students succeed academically but also guide them to become positive, adventurous, and good communicators in their daily campus life.

•Ms. Maggie has been an IB educator for over seven years and is passionate about teaching through inquiry. She is an experienced mathematics and English teacher and holds a degree in English. Maggie believes that a strong foundation in English will support students in understanding mathematical concepts in both languages. 

•She believes that mathematics should be interactive and that students should be given agency to find the answers for themselves through guided inquiry and direct instruction.  

•She is skilled at differentiating the curriculum at all levels, ensuring that all students in the class are successful and catered for.

•Mr. Will graduated from the Department of Education of Guangzhou University and has attained the Master 's degree in education.  

•For over 20 years, Mr. Will has worked in well-known primary and secondary schools. During this period, he served as a member of the teaching and research group and a young pioneer counsellor, guiding many students to participate in provincial and municipal competitions and obtaining excellent results. Later, he served as a Chinese teacher in IB school, guiding students in all subjects. 

•In his career, Mr. Will firmly believes that cultivating students’ mathematical thinking and guiding them to think independently is significant for them to maintain their curiosity about the world and become lifelong learners. 

•Ms. Cherry is a graduate of the Guangdong University of Foreign Studies and has five years of experience in teaching Mathematics. She has teaching qualifications in both Mathematics and English and extensive experience in bilingual mathematics teaching, as well as preparing students for Maths competitions. Miss Cherry has guided many students in international Maths competitions, including the American “Math League” and the Australian "Maths Kangaroo", winning both the gold and silver awards. She has also guided students in the Youth Mathematics Olympic competition and achieved the first prize in Guangdong Province. These outstanding achievements led her to be awarded the title of “excellent instructor”.

•Ms. Jessica holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Melbourne and a Master of Science degree from King's College London. Following her graduation, she started her teaching career at Wuhan University of Technology.  

•In 2020, she began working as a Grade 5 homeroom bilingual teacher, teaching Math, Science, and English at Basis Bilingual School Shenzhen. She was also the grade-level leader for two years at Basis. Ms. Jessica has been awarded the Outstanding Homeroom Teacher and Pioneer Educator award in Futian District, Shenzhen. 

•She focuses on creating a dynamic and engaging learning environment for all of her students. She believes in fostering a love of learning through hands-on activities, innovative teaching methods, and a strong emphasis on critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

•Mr. Brett studied for a bachelor's degree through Swinburne University, majoring in early childhood. He is Australian and has been teaching for over 12 years, with 6 years teaching English in China, and 6 teaching in Australia.

He is honoured to embrace the task of assisting all children to make progress in all facets of their development — academic, social, language, and physical health. To foster this growth in a joyful, positive environment, he works to build a community of learners in each classroom he is part of.

•Mr. Jeffrey brings more than 20 years of educational experience to the ISA Liwan primary years program. He has instructed students from primary years to university, and he is a consultant in the United States, Asia, and the Middle East. 

•He received his B. Sci in Decision Sciences and Management Information Systems from George Mason University and has continued his pursuit as a lifelong learner , earning an MA in Teaching, Postgraduate Certification of Education, United States DoD certifications, and is accredited by the Commission on English Language and certified by the US Department of Education. 

•He believes there are more similarities than differences in the world and that education is an essential catalyst to bringing about understanding, cooperation, and Global-Mindedness.

•Mr. LaSpina was born and raised in Chicago, in the heart of the USA. He has a Bachelor of Arts in management with a minor in human resources. After discovering his love for education, he earned a teaching English as a foreign language certification, then a postgraduate degree in education and finally a Master of Arts in educational leadership and change. He has taught in three IB schools and received three IB certifications. 

•After working many years as a homeroom teacher, he began to focus on teaching STEM, and through the University of San Diego, earned a ‘STEM teaching for tomorrow’s innovators’ certificate. After teaching for 13 years, he hopes to foster creativity and develop every student into an innovator.

•Mr. Enda teaches physical education at ISA International Liwan Primary School. He earned a degree in Physical Education from Guangzhou Sport University. 

•As a member of China's Australian Football National Team, he guided China to third place in the 2017 AFL Australian Cup.  

•He is skilled in teaching rugby, swimming, tennis, and Gaelic football and has more than ten years of training and education expertise. 

•He fosters a love of athletics and pushes students to find their athletic potential and embrace a healthy lifestyle through his dynamic teaching style.

•Mr. Diego comes from Toronto, Canada and has been teaching physical education at international schools for more than 25 years. He has worked in 11 different countries: Bolivia, Canada, Ecuador, Ghana, Indonesia, Myanmar, Peru, Thailand, Turkey, and Venezuela and is proud to commence his 8th year teaching in China. 

•He is eager to promote lifelong fitness and the love of sport for the students of the early years programme. He hopes to harness their energy positively, to create an exciting, interactive, individualised physical education programme for each student.

•Ms.Tiffany Situ is a graduate of South China Normal University with a major in Fine Arts; Printmaking. Tiffany has 7 years of experience teaching art in IB international schools, including the National Curriculum for Art, the IB Curriculum MYP, and the PYP for Visual Arts subjects. She was the subject head for visual arts , devising the school's visual arts curriculum. She was named "Outstanding Teacher" at her school for two consecutive years . She has experience instructing students in grades 1 through 9, and she has guided students to victory in art competitions.  

•As an art educator, she believes that art is a wonderful method for children to express themselves and experience life beyond their core subjects. In her art classes, she encourages students to hone their artistic language and develop their creativity through creative expression.

•Mr. Lovegrove holds a Bachelor of Teaching from Deakin University and has seven years of experience specialising in music and drama. He has spent much of his career as a professional actor performing in national touring productions such as ‘Les Miserables’ , ‘Chess’ , ‘Jesus Christ Superstar’ and has toured with Sarah Brightman in the Australasian tour of ‘The music of Andrew Lloyd Webber’ . 

•A dynamic performer and multi-instrumentalist, he also co-created the global operatic sensation ‘The Three Waiters’ , establishing offices in Sydney, London and New York. He looks forward to teaching music and working closely with the arts teachers in creating a vibrant and joyful arts experience for all students.

•Ms. Selenge holds a Master of Education in Teacher Librarianship from Charles Sturt University in Australia.  

•With over 12 years of experience as a librarian, she has spent the last five years working as a teacher librarian in International Baccalaureate (IB) schools in Mongolia and bilingual schools in China.  

•Throughout her library career, Ms. Selenge has developed specialized programs tailored to meet the varied needs of students and teachers.  These initiatives include events such as Book Week, interactive workshops, and various literacy activities, all aimed at fostering a genuine love for reading and a strong appreciation for literacy within the academic community.

•Ms. Jade has extensive expertise in teaching students English listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. Her teaching style is geared towards all learners, inspiring them to uncover their own unique skills and potential. 

•As a teacher, she enjoys playing an active role in guiding and witnessing the growth of each student. Her enthusiasm lies in nurturing and educating students' personal qualities, interests, and hobbies. She takes great care of her students and is always patient and sympathetic towards them.
