This week, we received exciting news – Jason, a pupil from the sixth form in Wellington College Hangzhou, has been accepted into University College London, ranked 9th in the QS World University Rankings 2024!
University College London is part of the UK's prestigious G5 universities, globally renowned for their exceptional academic standards and rigorous educational approach. Jason's acceptance into this world-leading institution not only showcases his academic talent and comprehensive qualities, but also reflects the outstanding effectiveness of Wellington College Hangzhou in fostering the holistic development of its pupils.
As of April 2024, the first group of graduates from Wellington College Hangzhou have been offered places at several highly regarded institutions across the UK, USA, Australia, Canada, France, Italy, and Spain. On average, each graduate received over 5 offers, with one pupil receiving an impressive 11 offers.
We are proud to announce that 90% of our first graduates have been accepted into the top 50 universities listed in the QS World University Rankings 2024. 60% of these have been accepted into the top 30 universities and 40%, some through scholarships, into the top 20.
