My Very First Month!
属于我的第一个月!
What an exciting first day! We had met some of our previous classmates, and we also welcomed new friends in the first week!
多么令人兴奋的第一天!我们见到了老同学,认识了新朋友!
We had fun making new friends and getting acquainted with our first unit of inquiry: Who we are.
交朋友是一件多么快乐的事情,开启了我们的第一个探究主题:我们是谁。
We started off our unit with “tuning in”. We are same and we are different.
在导入的部分,我们认识到了自己:我们是相同的和不同的。
We created our class rules and we are awarded if we can show self-management and team work!

SK students are learning about making healthy choices in their daily routines and building a balanced lifestyle. In the first week we shared our knowledge on what it means to be healthy. Our students worked collaboratively to create mind maps about healthy foods.
幼儿园大班的孩子们在一日活动中探究如何做出健康的选择,建立一个平衡的生活方式。第一周我们分享了健康的概念是什么。我们的孩子通过小组合作,共同制作了关于健康食物的思维导图。
We learned about the different food groups and the healthy eating pyramid. We worked in groups to discuss and sort different foods to show what foods they should eat the most often, the foods we should eat sometimes and the foods we should only eat once in a while. We also made connections between the foods we are eating dailyat school and which food groups we fit into.
我们学习了不同的食物种类以及健康饮食金字塔。分组讨论和分类不同的食物,分享我们最常吃的食物,我们有时应该吃的食物以及我们偶尔吃的食物。我们还将学校每天吃的食物与我们所学的联系起来,形成对健康饮食的认知。
We reflected on our daily food choices and explored healthy and unhealthy habits. We were able to access our prior knowledge about what we think healthy and unhealthy habits are; such as eating healthy, exercising, drinking lots of water, and getting enough sleep. Students also worked collaboratively to sort healthy and unhealthy habits and labeled them on a chart. We examined how they manage not only their physical health, but also their mental health by exploring how we manage our emotions and behavior.
我们同时反思每天选择的是否是健康的食物,或者是一种不健康的习惯。我们会把自己的已有经验运用到探究中,思考什么是健康的习惯,什么是不健康的习惯。比如:健康饮食、做运动、多喝水、保证充足的睡眠。孩子们小组探究,分类标出并表征出来。通过一日自我管理的思考和行为,我们还尝试如何管理好自己的身体,还有呵护自己的心理健康。
The SK students took a closer look at what makes certain foods healthy and learned about different vitamins. Students looked at sources and uses for vitamin A, B12, C, D, E and K and which foods are high in these helpful compounds. Students looked at why it’s important to get different vitamins in their diets and tested their knowledge by matching foods to the vitamins they have in them.

For young babies, our much anticipated first day finally arrived!We met some new friends and had a “My first day” photo booth.

We play together and make friends with each other.
