幼儿园家长工作坊|孩子们的“一百种语言”

这一次,幼儿园举办了 "一百种语言 "工作坊活动。这个工作坊的名字来自Lorise Malaguzzi的诗,他是一位早期儿童教育家,也被称为瑞吉欧教育理念的创始人。这个工作坊的目的是帮助家长更好地了解儿童如何学习、如何探索和表达他们的好奇心。我们也旨在解释瑞吉欧-艾米利亚教育理念所代表的意义,以及我们的早期教育在这个理念的指导下受到的启发。



为了评估我们家长现有的知识,我们首先进行了一项活动,让他们写一些对儿童如何学习的理解。然后,我们邀请他们观看一段直达心灵的视频,该视频将儿童描述为坚强、有力、有能力的学习者,他们通过自己的经验进行探索。看完这段视频以后,我们鼓励家长们将新的想法添加到他们之前所写的儿童如何学习的清单中。经过进一步的讨论,我们进入了工作坊的第二部分,如何利用低结构材料。



家长们发现,低结构材料是一种开放式的材料,可以移动、组合、拆卸、重新设计、创造和建造。有趣的是,家长们了解到玩低结构材料也有助于发展儿童的社会技能,并增强他们的情感发展。为了与孩子们的日常学校生活有更深一步的联系,我们的下一个活动是邀请家长分组玩低结构材料,用他们的想象力来猜测其他小组创造了什么。事实证明,这对他们来说是一个很好的体验!



通过这次工作坊,我们相信家长们学会了如何利用他们周围的空间和材料来激发孩子在学习之旅中产生的好奇心。工作坊鼓励家长们进行重新考虑和反思,使他们认识到可以让自己和孩子在玩耍中产生很多奇思妙想,并乐于探索不同的方方面面。通过观察他们孩子玩耍,注意玩耍中所发生的学习活动,父母也可以简单地与他们一起玩耍互动。




This time, Early Years hosted a "Hundred Languages" workshop. The workshop takes its name from Lorise Malaguzzi's poem, who was an early childhood educator and the founder of the educational philosophy known as the Reggio Emilia Approach. The purpose of this workshop is to help parents gain a better understanding of how children learn, explore, and wonder. We also aim to explain what the Reggio Emilia Approach stands for and why our Early Years department is inspired by it.



To assess our parents' existing knowledge, we began with an activity where they wrote a few words about their understanding of how children learn. Then, we invited them to watch an inspiring video that depicted children as strong, powerful, and competent learners who explore through their own experiences. This video prompted them to add new ideas to their list of how children learn. Following some discussions, we moved on to the second part of the workshop, focusing on Loose parts.



Parents discovered that Loose parts are open-ended materials that can be moved, combined, taken apart, redesigned, created, and built with. It was interesting for parents to learn that playing with Loose parts also helps develop children's social skills and enhances their emotional development. For a deeper connection to their children's daily school life, our next activity invited parents to play with some Loose parts, using their imagination to guess what other teams had created. It proved to be a great experience for them!



Through this workshop, we believe parents learned how to use the space and materials around them to provoke wonder and investigation of their children’s learning journey.  It encouraged them to reconsider and rethink, making them realize that they can allow themselves and their children to play with ideas and delight in exploring different perspectives. By observing their children at play and noticing the learning that takes place, parents can simply be playful with them.
