Our school is proud of nurturing our children with an international mindset starting from their earliest age. 


Together with being aware of our local culture in China and in Guangzhou, we are confident that this combination of local understanding and global awareness is instrumental in shaping our students into emissaries of collaboration and inclusivity.

We maintain an equal focus on English and Mandarin Chinese, including Cantonese. This dual- to triple-language approach allows international students to learn Chinese while integrating into the local social environment, as local students are able to communicate with them in English.

In our classrooms, we often discuss and study cases of cross-cultural integration with the children.  BKIK is where the school culture becomes a combination of elements from different cultures.

We value the merits of both Chinese and Western cultures, integrating them to enhance our teaching quality. This approach surpasses the limitations of single-culture curriculums, promoting a learning environment enriched by diverse teaching methodologies.


In turn, these methodologies help us better prepare our children to adapt to both social rules in China and in other countries.

Our teachers pay close attention to global events and bring age-appropriate topics or issues, which are happening around the world, into the classroom for discussion with children. As a result, we do not use textbooks, and the scope of the children's discussions is broad.

We organise clothing recycling activities for our K2 students to raise their awareness of global citizenship and environmental protection.

Teachers select topics that connect to the children's real-life experiences to help them better understand IB theme concepts, including 'Where We Are in Place and Time,' 'Sharing the Planet,' and 'Who We Are.'

Our school hosts a variety of events to honor different cultures, from Lingnan culture to international holidays like Halloween, Qingming, Christmas, and more.

These celebrations, along with an International Day, encourage children to explore and appreciate diverse traditions. Understanding the origins and significance of these festivals is particularly beneficial for international students, fostering openness to different traditions while respecting their own.

We believe to foster international mindedness in the classroom is influenced not only by our curriculum but also by each child's capacity to think critically and with an open mind. Therefore, we encourage all our parents to collaborate with us in promoting international mindedness at home.

Enrollment Process

1. Schedule a Visit: Parents can make an appointment with the Admissions Office to visit the campus and gain insights. 

预约参观:家长向家校办预约时间参观园区,了解详情


2. Submit Information: Parents complete the "Enrollment Application" to submit it to the Admissions Office.

填写资料:家长填写《入园申请表》提交至家校办


3. Arrange for Interview: Within a week of submitting the application, students are scheduled for an entrance interview assessment.

安排面试:递交申请表一周内,安排学生进行入园面试评估


4. Entrance Assessment: The child undergoes an interview with teachers.

入园评估:学生与教师面试,提前了解成长情况


5. Issuance of Admission Notification: Admissions Office releases admission information and class assignments to enrolled parents.

录取通知书发布:家校办向报名家长发布录取信息及班级分配


6. Document Submission: Parents are required to submit necessary documents, such as the child's ID and birth certificate, to the Admissions Office.

提交资料:家长需准备学生的身份证、出生证明等资料提交至家校办


7. Document Review: The Admissions Office reviews student documents and processes the enrollment procedures.

审核资料:家校办审核学生资料,为学生办理入学程序


8. Payment and Registration: Before the payment deadline, parents need to settle the tuition fees to confirm the student's enrollment.

缴费注册:家长需要在缴费截止日期钱缴纳学费,确定学位
