On behalf of the entire SISA community, I am delighted to announce that after much hard work, creativity and dedication, our BTEC students have begun to receive University offers from some of the leading universities for the Arts from around the world. We congratulate them for their efforts!

我在此非常高兴地代表全体辰美人向大家公布一个好消息：我们的BTEC学生，在经过其刻苦的学习，辛勤的创作及不懈的努力后，已经陆续收到了世界领先大学及艺术院校的录取通知。祝贺他们的努力有了回报。

Over the next few weeks, I will share with you highlights of these offers as they continue to come into the school, but as a start I am sure you will be pleased to hear that:

在接下来的几周,我会继续与大家分享学生们陆续收到的录取通知。以下是本周的小结：

Every student has received a BA offer from a University, Conservatoire of Music, or School for the Arts.

全部学生都获得大学，音乐学院或艺术学院的录取。

In my view this is the ultimate measure of success of any school in that we should ensure university entrance for each and every student, regardless of their background;

在我看来，这是衡量一所学校是否成功的首要因素。无论学生基础如何，学校有责任确保其每一个学生成功升入大学。

Two of our students have received BA offers from SCAD. This university has been ranked as “No. 1 in the U.S. overall, No. 1 in the world for learning experience and No. 1 in the U.S. for long-term value.”[1] SCAD has three campuses: two in the United States and one in France. These students have been offered the chance to study fashion. The high quality of their portfolios, have been instrumental in these offers.

我们有两位学生收获了SCAD(萨凡纳艺术与设计学院)的本科录取。SCAD学院是全美综合排名第一的艺术设计学院,全美最具长远价值院校,及学生学习体验世界排名第一的院校。SCAD拥有三个校区,两个美国校区一个法国校区。辰美的两位学生都被录取至时尚专业。他们优秀的作品集对于收获的录取至关重要。

Four of our students have received BA offers from University of Creative Arts which is ranked 13 overall in the UK.[2]

4位同学收获了全英排名第13的创意艺术大学的本科录取。

Fifteen of these offers are from the top 20 universities within the UK, with many of these universities also being some of the top schools for the arts in the world[3];

有15份录取通知来自于全英排名前20的大学。其中大部分都是世界顶级艺术院校。

One offer is for a BA in Music from Goldsmiths, ranked No. 4 for the arts in the UK.

有一位同学收到了来自全英排名第4的伦敦大学金丝史密斯学院的本科录取。

There are at the moment 38 offers in total for a wide range of subjects such as Animation, Illustration, Film Production, and Fine Arts. Students and their families will look over these many offers during the Chinese New Year, and decide how to proceed. There will be other offers to come as students continue to make applications.

到现在为止我们总共收到了38份来自不同专业的录取通知。其中包括动画，插画，电影制作，纯艺等。在春节期间，学生会与家人一起就他们已经收获的录取通知进行考量。因为申请还在持续进行, 之后他们也会陆续收到新的录取通知。

We are particularly pleased that there are several unconditional offers in this collection, which have been made based on the strengths of the student’s portfolios, references and personal statements.  

我们非常高兴有几位同学收到了无条件录取通知。这是他们辛勤耕耘作品集，推荐信，以及个人陈述换得的成果。

As you will know, these students represent our very first cohort of graduates, and so this is not only a very proud moment for these students and their families, but a critical waypoint in the history of our school.

作为辰美招收的第一批学生，他们优秀的学习成果不仅为自己及其家人带来了骄傲，更是树立了我校历史的第一个里程碑。

These first SISA graduates are making history. Each and every young person who enrols in SISA in the future will be measured against their success and who they become as young designers, musicians, artists and innovators.  Being first, is therefore not only a great privilege, but a huge responsibility. I am sure I speak for everyone associated with SISA when I say that we challenge this first graduating class to make the most of these offers and the fantastic opportunities that are now open to them.

我们的第一届毕业生正在书写学校的历史。未来入读辰美的每一届学生，都会参照他们今日的傲人成就来进行自我激励。他们会成为年轻的设计师，音乐家，艺术家以及创新者。作为第一届辰美毕业生，无限光荣背后也承载着巨大的责任。我谨代表所有辰美人接受第一届毕业生傲人成绩带来的挑战，并答谢他们带来的这些录取通知书背后为学校创造的无限可能。

We must also congratulate and thank all of our teachers. They have collectively helped these students in recent months to create professional portfolios, to prepare for interviews, to write personal statements and prepare for IELTS examinations. We will continue to challenge all students to complete their final projects as part of the requirements for their BTEC qualifications, and thus be ready to take up these offers in the new academic year.

在此我必须感谢我们的全体老师。感谢他们最近几个月来在学生准备作品集，面试, 个人陈述, 备考雅思等各方面给与的专业指导。我们也会继续在学生完成BTEC文凭的最后阶段，给与他们完成文凭要求的最后项目的适当挑战，从而确保他们做好迎接大学新学年的准备。

This is all very exciting. We still have many weeks to go in the process of students applying for universities.  Each week, they are adapting their portfolios and getting ready for new interviews.  I will provide you with an update of their application success, later in Feb/March.
