1月27号，CCIS在学校小礼堂举办了2020-2021上半学年颁奖典礼。这次，学校一共颁出了7个奖项来庆祝学生们在上半年取得的成就。

On Jan. 27th, CCIS held the 2020-2021 First Semester Award Ceremony. This semester, we gave out 7 school wide awards according to different categories.

其中，最大进步奖颁给了戴希曼（9年级），李师明（8年级），周墨（7年级），以及周靖哲（6年级）同学，来奖励他们在这个学期的不懈努力，以及因此带来的变化。

Each award was given out according to the values that school treasures. The students who received the award for the Most Improved Students are Ximan, Dai (9th); Shiming, Li (8th); Mo, Zhou (7th); Jingzhe, Zhou (6th).

而公民奖颁给了7年级的李籽燃和8年级的金麦董珠同学，来奖励他们在文明礼貌方面的表率作用。

The students who received the award for the Best Citizen are Ziran, Li (7th); Dongzhu, Jinmai (8th).

最后，作为这次唯一GPA总分超过3.8分的同学，李静芸（8年级）获得了优秀学生奖。

Lastly, Jingyun, Li (8th) received the Outstanding Student Award.

除了庆祝学生们在学校获得的成就，学校也对他们在校外取得的成就进行了表彰。在2020年澳大利亚数学竞赛中，所有的CCIS参赛学生都以优异的成绩获得了数学技能奖，更有七位学生获得了二等奖及三等奖。

 In addition to the school awards, we also hold the ceremony to celebrate the achievements that our students did in Australian Mathematics Competition (AMC). All of the participants of CCIS managed to receive a recognition from AMC as well as 7 students won second or third place in the competition. 

典礼的最后，Passion俱乐部的同学们还把自己课上学到的技能转化成了吸引人的PPT进行了展示并获得了一致好评。

At the end of the ceremony, students from Passion Lab also showed their projects they learned and made through the class, which received quite a cheer from the crowd.

通过这次典礼，学校希望可以鼓励更多的学生向着更高的目标进发。我们非常期待在学年结束的时候可以有更多的学生因为他们的努力而被表彰。让我们一起加油！

Through this ceremony, we want to encourage more students to strive for excellency.  We can’t wait for the next ceremony at the end of the school year to celebrate more achievements that students make.
