上周四,哈罗珠海的学子们开启了

“碧波水云间”主题研学活动



本次中文探究课程以

“人与人”“人与事”“人与自然”“人与社会”

为核心主题开始了研究研学之旅

在同一天的时间

高低年级的同学同时进行了

四条不同路线的研学探索

在不同的环境中学习中文,探索新知

珠海的“海与岛”、“路与桥”、“村与镇”、“人与事”奠定了这座城市的风姿绰约和人文亮色,也见证了这座城市的光辉历史。我们踏足春光胜境,融合本地游学资源,其意义远胜于任何一次考试,任何一种评估。希望哈罗珠海的学子们通过此次中文研学活动,在自然中感知当下,在历史中寻找未来,以新的视角中审读世界。






  走进奇妙的博物馆 


一年级和二年级的同学们开启了“博物馆奇妙日”的探索之旅。走进了珠海市新文化名片——珠海博物馆&城市规划展览馆,学习“珠海历史、共同的记忆、珠海传统艺文民俗文化”三大主题的课程。



同学们通过接触展品,体味历史的真实性,增加对珠海地域文化的认同感和归属感。


进而在紫檀博物馆(珠海分馆)开启了探宝活动,还化身为小小宫廷木匠,动手制作小家具,体验了传统文化的历史及魅力。

  小小达芬奇·绘画体验


三年级和四年级的同学们踏上了“小小达芬奇·绘画体验之旅”。同学们前往珠海闲云艺术研学教育基地,参观闲云艺术美术馆、5D空间复原世界名画、油画梦工厂。



同学们认真聆听油画知识讲座,了解油画生产知识,还动手体验了绘画创作和手作创作。

除了培养同学们对绘画的兴趣爱好外,可以提高审美情操,还能提高学习能力、专注能力和观察能力,同学们在这里通过对油画的体验和创作,充分锻炼了想象力和跳跃式思维。






  探索时间与自然的奥秘


高年级同学的研学路线则更有难度和深度。五年级和六年级的同学们探索了“时间与自然的奥秘”。同学们前往华南地区首家钟表文化主题博物馆——罗西尼时间工厂,参观罗西尼钟表博物馆、企业文化长廊、手表生产观览、欧式钟表主题园林景观。



同学们在千余件珍贵藏品中聆听时间的律动,并亲手做出一块属于自己表。




在省级自然保护区——淇澳红树林保护区,同学们看到大量南迁的候鸟、湿地保护区内的稀有植被以及动物,观察潮涨潮落的现象,感受到生命的丰富和勃发,学习了如何与自然和谐相处。






  港珠澳大桥实地研学


七年级、八年级和九年级的同学们在港珠澳口岸展厅内了解了港珠澳大桥及珠海口岸的建设历程、运营模式及未来宏图。还乘坐游轮开启了海上看珠海研学课程,领略港珠澳大桥的风光,在这项奇迹工程的宏伟中,增强了对科技大国的自豪感。



研学过程中围绕港珠澳大桥,从历史人文社会科学、海洋生态学、经济学和桥梁工程学四个学科帮助同学们拓展学科背景知识,构建系统思维模式,激发想象力、创造力。



还通过缤纷的实践课程,让同学们动手制作桥梁模型,培养与锻炼了同学们探寻真知、努力思考、动手实践的创造能力。



  研学感悟


研学之旅,收获颇丰。在港珠澳大桥展馆,惊叹于工程师的智慧;漫游桥文化长廊,欣赏古今中外的桥梁艺术,备受震撼,难以言表;亲眼目睹港珠澳大桥,似与坚强奋斗、自强不息的大国匠人促膝谈心;知晓了对白海豚的高效保护,启示我要与自然和谐共处。


此次研学,意义非凡,探索了科学文化知识,认识到既要重视课本知识,又要重视实践,做到知行合一。本次研学,让我们开辟对未知的探索道路,培养科学素养。

3月9日,学校组织了研学活动,一大早我和同学、老师们坐上大巴出发,路上有说有笑,很快就到了研学目的地——斗门闲云艺术美术馆。


我们参观了5D名画馆,体验了彩虹滑道,亲手画了脸谱和油画,还骑了骆驼。边学边玩,既充实又开心。我和我的同学互相帮助,团结合作,更增进了友谊。这次的研学活动让我收获了很多,虽然一天的行程很奔波,但是我们都很快乐。这是一次难忘的回忆。


阳光明媚,春风浩荡,大家怀揣着激动和期待的心情,开启了本次研学活动。罗西尼钟表博物馆里收藏着各种“奇珍异宝”,有精致巨大的时钟,有优雅精巧的女性手表,有霸气外露的机械表,让我感受到人类的智慧和科技的发展。在淇澳红树林保护区。我们呼吸到新鲜的空气,了解各种动植物的知识,感受到生命的丰富和勃发,学习如何与大自然和谐相处。


这次研学,我感受到科技在不断地快速发展,和大自然的蓬勃生机。让我懂得人类在发展科技的同时,要关注地球,尊重生命。

我很喜欢这次的研学活动,在这个活动中我们参观了三个博物馆,每个都很好玩,做小椅子的紫檀博物馆给我留下的印象最深刻,因为我很喜欢做手工,这个活动帮助我锻炼了动手能力,我特别开心参加这次研学,希望以后还有更多的机会参加这样的活动。

Harrow Zhuhai’s Chinese Culture Day(CCD)

Themed in “ Study Between Water and Cloud”

The programme focuses on four areas connecting

Human, Creation, Nature and Society.

Students from the upper and lower classes 

Take on four different routes of study and exploration

The "sea and island", "road and bridge", "village and town" and "people and event" have established the cultural base of Zhuhai. We go into the spring landscape and integrate local study programmes that are far more meaningful than any exam or assessment. We hope that through this CCD, Harrow Zhuhai students will be able to perceive the present in nature, find the future in history, and read the world from a new perspective. 






  Wonders in Museums  


G1 and G2 students embarked on a journey of discovery through a “Day at the Museums”. They went to the Zhuhai Museum and Zhuhai Planning Exhibition Hall to learn about the three themes of "Zhuhai History, Common Memory and Zhuhai Traditional Arts and Folk Culture".



Through exposure to the exhibits, students were able to appreciate the authenticity of history and increase their sense of identity and belonging to Zhuhai's regional culture.


The students then started a treasure hunt at the China Red Sandalwood Museum (Hengqin Branch) and also disguised themselves as little court carpenters, making small pieces of furniture and experiencing the history and charm of traditional culture.

 Painting Experience


Students from G3 and G4 embarked on a "Little Leonardo da Vinci - Painting Experience". The students went to Zhuhai Free Cloud Art Research and Education Base to visit the Free Cloud Art Museum, the 5D space to restore world famous paintings and the oil painting dream factory.



Students listened attentively to lectures on oil painting, learned about oil painting production, and also experienced hands-on painting creation and handicraft creation.

Apart from cultivating students' interest in painting, it can improve aesthetic sentiment, as well as learning ability, concentration ability and observation ability, where students fully exercised their imagination and leaping thinking.







  Mystery of Time and Nature


The study program for the Upper School students was more challenging and in-depth. G5 and G6 students explored the mysteries of time and nature. They went to the Rossini Time Factory, the first museum of watch culture in South China, and visited the Rossini Horologe museum, the corporate culture gallery, the watch production tour and the European-style watch-themed garden.



Students listened to the rhythm of time among more than a thousand precious collections and made a watch of their own.





At the Qi'ao Mangrove Reserve, a provincial nature reserve, students saw large numbers of migrating birds migrating south, rare vegetation and animals, observed the phenomenon of high and low tides, felt the richness and burgeoning of life and learnt how to live in harmony with nature.






  Journey of HZM Bridge


G7, G8 and G9 students learned about the construction history, operation mode and future ambitions of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao (HZM) Bridge and Zhuhai port in the HZM Bridge exhibition hall. They studied See Zhuhai at Sea course on a cruise ship to take in the sights of the HZM Bridge and to enhance their pride in being a great nation in science and technology.



The course revolved around the HZM Bridge, helping students to expand their subject background knowledge, build systematic thinking patterns and stimulate their imagination and creativity from four disciplines: humanities and social sciences, marine ecology, economics and bridge engineering. 



The diversified hands-on course also allowed students to make models of the bridge, cultivating and exercising their creative skills of searching for true knowledge, thinking hard and putting their hands into practice.



  Students’ Comments


The study program was very fruitful. At the HZM Bridge Pavilion, I marvelled at the wisdom of the engineers; I roamed around the Bridge Culture Gallery and admired the art of bridges both ancient and modern, and I was shocked beyond words; witnessing the bridge with our own eyes, I seemed to have a heart-to-heart talk with the strong, struggling and self-improving craftsmen of our great nation; learning about the efficient protection of white dolphins, I was inspired to live in harmony with nature.


The course was meaningful as I explored scientific and cultural knowledge and realized the importance of both textbook knowledge and practice to achieve the unity of knowledge and action. It allowed us to open up the path of exploration of the unknown and develop scientific literacy.

On the 9th of March, our school organised a CCD. Early in the morning, my classmates, teachers and I set off on the bus, laughing and talking on the way, and soon arrived at our destination, the Free Cloud Art Museum.


We visited the 5D painting gallery, experienced the rainbow slide, painted faces and canvases, and rode camels. Learning and playing at the same time was both fulfilling and fun. My classmates and I helped each other and worked together, which enhanced our friendship. I gained a lot from this study trip and although it was a long day of travel, we all had a lot of fun. It was an unforgettable memory.


The sun was shining and the spring breeze was swirling as we all started the CCD with excitement and anticipation. In Rossini Horologe Museum,there were all kinds of "exotic treasures" in the collection, from exquisite and huge clocks, to elegant and delicate women's watches, to overbearing mechanical watches, which made me feel the wisdom of human beings and the development of technology. At the Qi'ao Mangrove Reserve, we breathed fresh air, learned about various plants and animals, felt the richness and burgeoning of life, and learnt how to live in harmony with nature.


During this study, I felt the rapid development of science and technology, and the vigorous life of nature. It taught me that while developing technology, humans should care about the earth and respect life.

I really enjoyed this study. We visited three museums in this activity, each of which was fun, and I was most impressed by the China Red Sandalwood Museum where we made small chairs, because I love doing crafts and this activity helped me to exercise my hands-on skills. I was particularly happy to take part in this course and I hope there will be more opportunities in the future.
