飞鸟集|樱花姐弟Miku&Rikuto的爱莎成长之旅

3月的一个星期五下午,伴随着窗外悦耳的鸟鸣和温暖的阳光,武汉爱莎外籍人员子女学校的孩子们正你一言我一语地进行集会讨论环节。


在三年级的Miku同学发言结束后,大家献上了热烈的掌声,其中鼓掌最起劲的那位小朋友,正是一年级的Rikuto同学,Miku的亲弟弟。这对来自日本的姐弟一起在爱莎一同生活,一起成长,越来越有融入感、参与感和归属感

On a Friday afternoon in March, with birdsong and warm sunshine outside the window, the children of ISA Wuhan International School were engaged in the assembly discussion session. 


At the end of G3 student Miku's speech, there was a round of applause and the child who applauded the most was G1 student Rikuto, Miku's brother. These two siblings from Japan are living and growing together at ISA Wuhan, and have a growing sense of inclusion, participation and belonging.

小小年纪的Rikuto喜欢用肢体语言加上简单的英语表达自己,Robyn老师也鼓励他这么做。Robyn告诉我们,刚来到学校的时候,Rikuto只能说简单的英语,多数时候使用的是日语和中文。


学校老师们采取遵循3P+1L(Present-Process-Product&Learning)原则的分层教学模式,对基础不同的学生因材施教,帮助他们实现整体发展。通过参与IB课程中的探究单元,Rikuto的英语水平得到了显著的提升,尤其是听和说英语的能力。

At a very young age, Rikuto likes to express himself using body language and simple English and is encouraged to do so by Ms Robyn, who tells us that when he first started at the school, he could only speak simple English and mostly used Japanese and Chinese. 


The teachers at the school adopt a Differentiation method that follows the 3P+1L principles to teach different students and help them to develop holistically. Rikuto's English has improved significantly through participation in the Units of Inquiry in the IB curriculum, especially in listening and speaking English.

在老师的鼓励和同学们的帮助下,Rikuto越来越自信,经常主动和大家分享自己的见闻,并且能独立阅读一些简单的英文读物,还能用英语讲述日本民间故事。“我觉得英语对我来说没有那么难了。”Rikuto自信地告诉我们。

With the encouragement of teachers and the help of classmates, Rikuto is becoming more confident and often takes the initiative to share his insights with others, and is able to read some simple English readings independently, as well as tell Japanese folk tales in English. "I don't think English is that hard for me anymore," Rikuto tells us confidently.

“Miku是一个非常努力、非常认真的孩子,刚来到这里的时候她有些害羞,在大多数时间里,她是一个倾听者的角色。但很快她就适应了这个环境,她在所有的课堂上都积极回答问题,并且完美地完成课后作业,对新事物充满好奇心,展现出了挑战者的特质。”Philip老师告诉我们。

"Miku is a very hard-working  and conscientious child, when she first arrived, she was a little shy and for most of the time she was in a listening role. But she soon adapted to the environment, answering questions positively in all classes and completing her homework perfectly, being curious about new things and showing the qualities of a challenger." Mr Philip told us.

在老师们眼中,Miku是一个“perfect”的学生。Sharon老师告诉我们,Miku不仅在学业上非常优秀,在生活中还十分乐于助人。教授日语的北村老师也认为Miku的表现值得称赞:“Miku对自己的要求很严格,她在学习上投入的努力是大家有目共睹的,而且在生活中越来越乐观,这是很难得的,我希望她能放松地做自己。”

Miku is a perfect student in the eyes of her teachers, with Ms Sharon telling us that Miku is not only very good at her studies but also very helpful in her life. Ms Kitamura, who teaches Japanese, also thinks Miku's performance is commendable: "Miku is very strict with herself, and the effort she puts into her studies is obvious to everyone, and she is becoming more and more optimistic in life, which is very rare, and I hope she can relax and be herself."

“有时我们会在生活中遇到一些困难和问题,但我和弟弟会互相帮助,老师和朋友们也都会对我们伸出援手,所以没什么好担心的。” Miku说。


家人之间的羁绊是深厚又温暖的,每当Rikuto看到他的姐姐,他都会非常开心地打招呼,并且在Miku展示自己时全力支持她。“这太令人感动了,不是吗?他们之间是那么亲近,让我感受到亲人间的依赖和信任,这就是家人。”Robyn激动地说。

"Sometimes we have difficulties and problems in life, but my brother and I help each other and our teachers and friends reach out to us, so there's nothing to worry about," Miku says. 


The bond between the family is deep and warm, and whenever Rikuto sees his sister, he greets her very happy and supports Miku when she shows herself. "It's so heart-warming, isn't it? They are so close to each other and it makes me feel the dependence and trust between relatives, which is family." Robyn said excitedly.

这种温馨的场面不仅存在于两人之间,在日复一日的相处中,爱莎的老师和同学们也成为了两姐弟新的家人。Rikuto和Miku也在温馨的氛围中感受爱,并学会了将爱传递给身边的人。


在爱莎,所有人都非常喜欢Rikuto和Miku,他们总是给大家带来笑容和暖心的关怀,老师们和同学们每天都会被他们的热情开朗和乐于助人的性格所感染。

This heart-warming scene not only exists between the two, but day after day, ISA's teachers and students become the two siblings' new family. Rikuto and Miku have learnt to pass on their love to those around them. 


Everyone at ISA Wuhan loves them, they always bring smiles and warmth to everyone, and the teachers and students are impressed by their cheerful and helpful personalities every day.

Rikuto和Miku的爸爸Yamashita先生认为,爱莎的教育是从生活中开始、在实践中提升的:“武汉爱莎学校有很多像 Rikuto和 Miku一样的日本小朋友,孩子们在这里就像在另一个家里一样,他们的动手能力、交流能力等都得到了很大的提高。


关于和日本学校最大的不同,Yamashita太太表示:“武汉爱莎是一个国际化的社区,老师们非常重视孩子们的感受,这种包容和尊重的环境让他们能够健康快乐地成长。”

Rikuto and Miku's father, Mr Yamashita, believes that education at ISA begins in life and improves through practice: "There are many Japanese children like Rikuto and Miku at ISA Wuhan School, where the children are like in another home and their hands-on skills, communication skills and so on are greatly improved." 


On the biggest difference from the Japanese school, Mrs Yamashita said, "ISA Wuhan is an international community where the teachers pay attention to the children's feelings and this inclusive and respectful environment allows them to grow up healthy and happy."
