In the past academic year, the eight parent members of the Friends of Harrow Preparatory Committee have contributed so mach to the Harrow community. Parents and the school have worked together to facilitate a number of school-based parent-child activities, creating a better learning environment for their children, and a platform for the parent community to learn and communicate.
Friends of Harrow founding group
「Education begins at home, expands at school, extends to the community and fulfils itself.」
When school is not just about imparting knowledge and training skills, but more about linking cultures and exploring civilizations, the resources of one school can never meet the needs of a child's development. So, we hope that more parents will stand with us to open different windows and pave more pathways for each child. We welcome more parents to join Friends of Harrow and actively participate in making a better educational environment for their children.

As the famous educator Sukhomlinsky said,
「 the best results in education depend on the consistency of the influence of school and home on the education of children. Without this consistency, the teaching and educational process in schools will collapse like a house made of paper. 」
Ensuring that the school's education relies on the home and school working together. The Friends of Harrow Parent Committee is the link and bridge that enables this collaborative effort.
Every parent is a valued partner and a true family member at Harrow Haikou, whether they run for election or not, and whether they serve on the Parent Committee or not. We also see every parent at Harrow community contributing to their child's future and the school's dreams. Congratulations to our new Friends of Harrow Parent Committee members and we look forward to seeing you lead your children and the school into the new future!
