In the 2022-2023 academic year, taking an internationalized brand school with excellent quality, distinctive features, and significant benefits as the goal and being guided by the "Quality, Distinctiveness, and Internationalization" three-year development plan, CBIS was committed to exploring and practicing the "Chinese Western integration" of international education and gradually highlighting the characteristics of international education by establishing scientific educational values and strictly grasping the quality of education, teaching, and management.
CBIS Bilingual School will face new challenges and opportunities in the new academic year.
To ensure the smooth progress of all work and encourage all faculty to unite and welcome the new semester with better conditions, a work deployment meeting for the new academic year was held on the afternoon of August 23rd, with the theme of "quality, characteristics, and internationalization". Principal Oliver Luo of the International Division presided over the meeting.
Firstly, General Principal Mr. Yang affirmed the work of the past academic year. He remarked that we would firmly adhere to the General Target of the school, keep in mind the mission statement, and tackle the educational ecology and difficulties faced by the school appropriately.
We will continue to improve the quality of education and teaching with team building as the starting point, classroom teaching as the main battlefield, and rich and colorful activities and events as the carrier. We will strengthen management internally and establish a good image in the community. We endeavor to explore the Chinese-Western integration of basic education and take the path of international education with Chinese characteristics.
Then, Mr. Yang elaborated in detail on the new academic year's work from five aspects: teaching work, moral education work, management work, safety work, and enrollment work.
As an important carrier for the education of teachers' professional ideals and the construction of teacher ethics, the teachers' oath can strengthen teachers' professional beliefs and ethics, make them understand deeply teachers' professional responsibilities and obligations, enhance teachers' sense of professional happiness and honor, to create a good atmosphere for the construction of teacher ethics and professional conduct, and forms a growth effect mechanism. After the meeting, the general principal led all teachers to take the oath of professional ethics toward the national flag.
In the transformation and changes in private education and international education, it is bound to be difficult for CBIS exploration of the internationalization of basic education. However, since we have chosen, the only way is to forge ahead, whether wind or rain!
