学会如何学习，对学生来说至关重要。在IB项目中，五种学习方法（也称“五大技能”），简称ATL（Approaches to Learning），注重帮助学生发展其热爱终生学习所需要的自觉与技能，包括：思考（Thinking）、社交（Social）、沟通（Communication）、研究（Research）、自我管理（Self-management）等技能。学习方法方面的技能为学生独立学习和合作学习提供坚实的基础，使学生能够成功应对各学科的挑战性目标，并为他们将来进一步的学习深造做好准备。

Learning how to learn is crucial for students. In the IB program, there are five learning methods, also known as the Approaches to Learning or ATL. These methods focus on helping students develop the conscious awareness and skills needed for a lifelong love of learning. The skills include thinking, socializing, communicating, researching, and self-management.

研究技能需要运用研究能力来解决问题和寻找答案。在活动中，低年级G1-G3的学生们用小棒游戏及数独游戏来挑战自己的大脑。高年级G4-G6的24点活动，则运用已有的基础知识，分析和解读信息，更加直观地进行研究。这专注细致地模样让人感受到我就是其中的关键一环。

Research skills require the application of research abilities to solve problems and find answers. In the activities, students from grades 1 to 3 challenged their brains with stick games and Sudoku. Students from grades 4 to 6 engaged in the 24-point game, using their foundational knowledge to analyze and interpret information more intuitively. This focused and meticulous approach made everyone feel like they were a crucial part of the process.

学会思考，在生活中，我们也需要运用思考能力来做出明智的决策。在面对一些具有挑战性问题的时候，发挥我们的想象力，提出自己的想法，就像一位智者，用智慧照亮前行的道路。你能看到没有标点的句子并准确读出来吗？这些词语都是哪类的？能快速从一堆字中找到包含自己名字的卡片吗？玩转文字，对学生们来说，既能锻炼思考，又能表达想法。

Learning to think is essential in life, as we need to use our thinking abilities to make wise decisions. When faced with challenging problems, we need to unleash our imagination and propose our own ideas, just like a wise person who illuminates the path ahead with wisdom. Can you read sentences without punctuation accurately? What type of words are these? Can you quickly find a card with your name from a pile of words? Playing with words not only exercises students' thinking skills but also allows them to express their thoughts.

ATL中所培养的沟通技能总是和社交技能相辅相成。此次活动中，学生们用玩转飞盘、眼色游戏、你画我猜等形式，与他人合作，达成最后的目标。社交技能强调的是合作，懂得与他人合作是至关重要的。而只有良好的沟通技巧，用清晰、准确的语言表达自己的想法，让他人理解，则可以使我们的交往更加和谐。传递信息游戏，学生们用图片、画画、口述等游戏方式，学习如何能将信息准确地传给他人，也学习着将所获取的信息清楚地表达出来，体现了玩中学，学中玩。

Effective communication skills cultivated through ATL always go hand in hand with social skills. In this activity, students cooperated with others through games such as Frisbee, eye-contact games, and Pictionary to achieve the final goal. Cooperating with others is emphasized in social skills, as it is crucial to know how to work together. Good communication skills, expressed through clear and accurate language, help others understand us, leading to harmonious interactions. In information relay games, students learn how to accurately convey information using pictures, drawings, and oral descriptions, as well as how to express gathered information clearly. This reflects the idea of learning through play and playing through learning.

自我管理能力是IB学生需要具备的重要技能之一。对新入学的学生们来说，学习如何整理好自己的书桌，整理自己的物品，就是成长的重要一步。而眼疾手快，让学生们体验有趣的眼、手、脑、心协调方式，达到身心合一，学习运用自我管理能力来提高自己的自律性。

Self-management is one of the important skills that IB students need to possess. For new students, learning how to organize their desks and belongings is a significant step in their growth. Being quick and nimble, students experience the coordination of their eyes, hands, brains, and hearts in a fun way, achieving a unity of body and mind, and learning to use self-management skills to improve their self-discipline.
