哈佛大学模拟联合国项目 HMUN

MYP和DP的同学参加了在广州举办的哈佛模拟联合国（HMUN）会议，以精彩的表现成为了广东地区最亮眼的一颗新星。

这次盛会的使命是召集来自世界各地的新兴领袖，让他们参与到关于人类所面临的重大而复杂挑战的讨论中。从金融领域中货币的数字化，到赋权妇女，这些议题都在经验丰富的哈佛学子的指导下得以深入探讨。‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍

TWIS commitment to experiential education has been the driving force behind extending an unparalleled opportunity to our MYP/DP students-an invitation to participate in the illustrious Harvard Model United Nations (HMUN) conference held in Guangzhou.

The underlying mission of this prestigious event is to convene budding leaders from across the globe, engaging them to profound discussions concerning the paramount from the digitalization of currency in finance to the empowerment of women were explored under the aegis of seasoned Harvard students.

在为期四天的密集赛事中，学生们对模拟国际关系进行了尝试。代表国家如新西兰、菲律宾以及荷兰，每位参与者都被分到不同的委员会，每个委员会都致力于特定的议题，通过起草工作文件、制定决议，并在联合国的严格辩论规则下进行投票。‍‍‍

Over the course of 4 intensive days, students embarked on a voyage of international relations simulation. Representing countries such as New Zealand, Phillippines, Netherlands, each participant was assigned to diverse committees, each dedicated to specific issues. Crafting working papers, drafting resolutions, and culminating in voting, all took place under the aegis of the exacting debating regulations of the United Nations.

TWIS的学生们在HMUN也获得了与哈佛学生互动的机会，他们不仅分享了大学申请的流程，还就面试准备和论文写作提供了实用的见解。当TWIS学生们离开活动的时候，从本次活动获得的经验将加强他们对自己潜力的信心，使他们更有希望成为自己目标领域中的领袖！

HMUN extended a unique opportunity for interaction with Harvard students, who not only elucidated the college application process but also proffered insights into interview preparation and essay writing. As our TWIS delegates departed the conference, they carried within them lessons garnered from committee sessions and beyond - lessons that fortified their belief in their potential to emerge as leaders and visionaries in thier own spheres.
