NEWS ｜ 暨大港澳子弟学校代表团赴香港恒生大学交流

Following the signing of the "Principal Nomination Scheme" between the Hang Seng University of Hong Kong (HSUHK) and three ASJ schools in Guangzhou, Dongguan and Foshan, the two parties have been enhancing collaboration and broadening educational horizons through close exchanges.

自香港恒生大学与广州、东莞以及佛山三所暨大港澳子弟学校签订“校长推荐计划”以来，双方一直通过密切的交流来促进了解、增强协作以及扩大教育视野。

On 5 October 2023, a delegation from the three ASJ schools visited HSUHK for an exchange on developing collaboration in basic education in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

10月5日，暨大港澳子弟学校“一门三校”代表团共同到访香港恒生大学，在如何更好地开展粤港澳大湾区基础教育协作等方面进行了深入的交流。

Dr. Fong Wing-ho, Acting President and Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Institutional Advancement), Prof. Foo Ho-ying, Acting Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Teaching and Learning and Student Experience), Dr. Yau Tsz-kan, Head of Global Affairs, and Ms. Ng Tin-yan, Manager of Academic Affairs Office of HKHSU were present at the seminar.

香港恒生大学署任校长、副校长（机构发展）方永豪博士，署理副校长（教学及学生体验）符可莹教授，环球事务主管丘梓勤博士，教务处经理吴天恩女士等出席了座谈会。

Dr Fong Wing-ho warmly welcomed the delegation from ASJ Schools and showed the latest promotional video of HSUHK, introducing the school's teaching speciality and campus environment.

方永豪博士对暨大港澳子弟学校一行的到来表示热烈欢迎，并播放了香港恒生大学最新宣传影片，介绍了学校教学模式、教学特色以及校园环境等情况。

Ms. Ng Tin-yan introduced the scholarship policy and admission procedures of HSUHK, and both parties had a future discussion on the "Principal Nomination Scheme", with HSUHK indicating that they will come to ASJ to introduce the scheme to students and parents on-site when there is an opportunity. Prof. Foo Ho-ying also expressed her expectation that ASJ schools could nominate more outstanding students to study at HSUHK.

吴天恩女士则分享了香港恒生大学奖学金政策以及收生程序等情况，双方就之前签订的“校长推荐计划”进一步进行商讨，并表示有机会将会到暨大港澳子弟学校现场向ASJ学子与家长进行分享和介绍。符可莹教授也表示期望暨大港澳子弟学校往后推荐更多优秀的学生到恒大就读。

During the discussion, our school learnt that HSUHK has a very mature programme system on many cutting-edge topics such as ESG, AI, Decision Making, etc., and these research areas will be helpful for the future career development of the students. In addition, HSUHK is the first and only self-financed degree-granting institution in Hong Kong to adopt a full residential college system, which can provide an ideal living and learning integrated community for students to learn and to engage in self-improvement. It is indeed a great place for ASJ's outstanding students to further their education.

在座谈交流过程中，我校了解到恒生大学在ESG、AI、Decision Making等众多前沿议题上都有非常成熟的课程体系，这些研究方向都对学子未来的职业发展有所助益。此外，恒生大学还是香港第一所、同时也是唯一一所采用全住宿书院制的自资学位颁授院校，能够为学子提供一个理想的学习和生活的综合社区。对于ASJ的优秀学子来说，日后进入恒生大学深造确实是一个不错的选择。

The exchange not only enabled both parties to get the latest educational information, but also opened up a good channel for ASJ students to learn more about HSUHK and broaden their horizons. In the future, both parties will continue to deepen their collaboration and contribute to educational integration in the Greater Bay Area.

本次交流活动不仅让双方收获了许多教育层面的前沿分享，更为ASJ学子开拓了一条了解恒生大学、开阔视野的良好渠道。未来，双方将继续探讨粤港基础教育融合、基础教育与高等教育衔接等问题，持续深化彼此之间的合作，为大湾区的教育融合做贡献。
