Canadian Thanksgiving Day falls on the second Monday of October every year. Thanksgiving is a festival to give thanks for the blessing of the harvest and express gratitude in general on other fortunes in the year. Traditionally, the Thanksgiving meal includes roast turkey and seasonal produce, such as pumpkin, potato, stuffing, and cranberry sauce. 

Today, we celebrated Thanksgiving with a traditional lunch served to our students and staff in the cafeteria at CISH. Our staff and students enjoined themselves at this festive lunch. It is a wonderful opportunity to strengthen our bonds and share in the joy of gratitude and togetherness. We hope our children are being grateful for who they are and what they have to offer and understand the importance of saying thanks to people in their family and people around them.
