授章庆典|哈罗横琴传承百年荣光,启航卓越未来

横琴哈罗礼德学校作为亚洲领先的K-12教育集团——亚洲国际学校有限公司(AISL)旗下的哈罗大家庭成员学校之一,荣获英国哈罗公学授予哈罗纪念印章,标志着与英国哈罗一脉相承、精诚合作。英国哈罗公学特委派校董成员远渡重洋出席授章庆典现场,寓意哈罗卓越教育底蕴贯彻传承,并通过AISL集团“育以至善,卓以领航”的愿景发扬光大。







授章时刻:

一脉相承,共贺卓越


10月17日,备受期待的授章庆典上,AISL创办人邱达强先生、AISL主席王䓪鸣博士,以及英国哈罗公学校董会主席Mr. David Eyton在现场师生和家长的见证下,郑重地向横琴哈罗礼德学校外方校长马千里博士授予象征厚重历史和荣誉的开校纪念印章,并正式揭开代表继往开来、不断追求卓越教育的纪念牌匾。


开校纪念印章的原型为英国伊丽莎白女王一世授予哈罗公学创办人约翰·里昂的皇家特许勋章,在伦敦北部的哈罗镇创办学校,久负盛名的哈罗公学由此而来,延续了逾450年,在今天已成为英伦精英教育的代名词。

在皇家勋章的正面,女王正襟危坐于王座之上,

寓意着皇室的认可与权威。背面则是女王在马背上的画面。



“印章象征着恒久的保证和承诺,而哈罗公学的皇家印章就是一个见证学校从遥远过去走向未来的历史物件,这是哈罗逾450年历史的完美代表。

经过18个月的努力,我们以手工复刻了这件有着450年历史的伊丽莎白时代印章,每一件都有其独特的魅力。”

开学将近三年以来,学校屡获殊荣,进入中国国际学校品牌价值百强榜,成为珠海市人民对外友好协会第三届理事会理事单位,设立剑桥大学广东校友会活动基地等等。仅在2023年上半年,我们的学生就在美国科学挑战(NSL)、河马英语测评、在阿思丹全球青年经济论坛等赛事和活动中斩获佳绩,崭露头角。2023年6月,横琴哈罗礼德学校获得剑桥考点认证,9月第一届高中正式开课,哈罗横琴完成了K12体系搭建,成为大湾区首家源自英国哈罗品牌、提供从幼儿园至高中全过程教育的国际标准双语学校。

Schools under the leading Asian K-12 education group, Asia International School Limited (AISL), were each conferred a Harrow Seal by Harrow School UK, recognising their remarkable achievements in the pursuit of a holistic Harrow education and denoting the close connection between the AISL Harrow Schools and the 450-year heritage of Harrow in the UK. A momentous occasion worthy of celebration, the Seal Conferment Ceremonies also demonstrated the collective commitment of AISL’s Family of Schools to furthering AISL group’s vision for students in Asia of ‘Educational Excellence for Life and Leadership’.






Seals of Distinction: Celebrating Milestones and Honouring Heritage


On 17th, October,at the Harrow Seal Conferment Ceremony for Harrow Hengqin, graced by the presence of teachers, students and parents, all guests witnessed the presentation of a commemorative plaque and a Harrow Seal to the School Head Dr. Max Caruso by AISL’s Founder Mr Daniel Chiu, AISL Chairman Dr Rosanna Wong and the Chairman of Governor of Harrow School in the UK Mr. David Eyton. 


The replica of the commemorative seal for the opening of the school is the Royal Charter of the Order of Merit granted by Queen Elizabeth I to John Lyon, the founder of Harrow School, who founded the school in the town of Harrow in north London, from which the prestigious Harrow School came into being. It has lasted for more than 450 years, and which today is synonymous with elite education in the United Kingdom.

On the front side of the seal, the Queen seats solemnly 

on the throne, symboling authority and royal 

recognition.  On the back side of the seal, 

it depicts the Queen riding a horse.



"A seal is a symbol of an ongoing guarantee and promise; Harrow's historic royal seal is an object that symbolises the School's traditions and longevity, as well as its future, and seemed the perfect representation of the Harrow 450 celebrations.  


The result of 18 months of hard work were beautiful replicas of the 450-year-old Elizabethan seal, made with individual touches that give each copy a unique flair. "

Dr. Max Caruso believed that the rich history of this seal is rich in educational wisdom and often coincides with China's 5,000 years of long and splendid culture. He believed that children who are nurtured in a diverse and harmonious cross-cultural learning environment will possess the qualities of "A Blend of East and West".

Dr. Rosanna Wong said that Hengqin is in a unique position, both geographically in terms of its connectivity and hub centre, and culturally in terms of its East-meets-West and eclecticism. She expressed her warmest congratulations to Harrow LiDe School Hengqin for its achievements in the three years since its founding and her sincere thanks for the support from parents, staffs and public along the way. She wished that the school would continue to forge ahead in the future and shine on the path of providing holistic education in pursuit of excellence.

Mr. Trevor Lewis expressed his congratulations and delight at the in-depth co-operation between China and the UK in the field of education, and encouraged the students to fully draw on the essence of Chinese and Western cultures, and to develop holistically in terms of academic literacy, global vision and leadership attributes.



At the ceremony, Harrow Hengqin students presented wonderful musical performances and original poetry recitations, demonstrating outstanding humanistic qualities and self-confidence.


In the three years since the school opened, we have won numerous awards, entering the Top 100 International Schools in China, becoming a member of the Third Council of ZHPAFFC and setting up a base for the Cambridge Alumni Society Guangdong, to name but a few. In the first half of 2023 alone, our students have made a name for themselves in events and activities such as the National Science League(NSL), the Hippo English Olympiad, and the World Youth Economic Forum by Asdan, etc. In June 2023, Harrow LiDe School Hengqin was accredited as a Cambridge international school, and the first high school officially opened in September. Harrow Hengqin has completed the construction of its K12 system, becoming the first international standard bilingual school in the Greater Bay Area that originates from the Harrow brand in the United Kingdom and provides education from kindergarten to high school.
