Review of October Fun Day 十“纷”趣味日回顾｜我们的航行日志

On the morning of 27th October, ISA Tianhe celebrated the annual October Fun Day to close the month of October. The activity centred on the theme of "Sailing Journal- Five Oceans," the children enjoyed the event while developing their knowledge of geographical distribution. At the same time, the theme continued from the International Children's Day "Seven Continents," which allowed members of the ISA Tianhe community to learn more about the ecological environment.

10月27日上午，爱莎天河迎来了一年一度的十“纷”趣味日，为十月画上圆满的句号。本次活动围绕着“航行日志之五大洋”开展了主题摊位活动，孩子们度过了一个充满活力的趣味日，同时加深了他们对地理分布的认知。本次活动主题延续了国际儿童节的“环游七大洲”，让爱莎社区成员对生态环境有更多的了解。

Five Oceans

航行五大洋

Why is the Earth blue? The main reason the Earth is blue is that most of the Earth's surface is covered by water (71%). It appears blue because the oceans reflect blue light, and they cover most of its surface. The Earth's surface waters are in five significant zones called the five oceans: the Pacific, Atlantic, Indian, Arctic, and Southern Oceans. The themed activities give students a wealth of knowledge about geographical features, further stimulates children's creative thinking, broaden their horizons, and enhance global awareness.

地球为什么是蓝色的？地球是蓝色的主要原因是大部分地球表面被水覆盖（71%）。它之所以呈现蓝色，是因为海洋反射蓝光。地球表面水域分为五大区域，称为五大洋，即太平洋、大西洋、印度洋、北冰洋和南大洋。主题活动为学生提供了丰富的地理特征知识的机会，进一步激发孩子们的创造性思维，拓宽国际视野，增强他们的全球意识。

Dress up 创意装扮大赏

Students and teachers came into the campus dressed in costumes related to the theme.

学生们与老师们身穿与主题相关的服装走进校园，共同起帆，航行五大洋。

Booth Games 趣味游戏体验

Children and teachers from each class in the primary school worked together to conceive and design a game such as fishing, golf, etc. The children showed their creativity and hands-on skills in the event. The Primary children enthusiastically and patiently explained the rules of the games to the Early Years children. During the games, the children were given stickers for each game they participated in and exchanged them for prizes.

小学每个班级的孩子和老师共同构思设计一个游戏，尽情发挥他们的创造力和动手能力。孩子们欢快的穿梭在个大洋之间。小学的孩子们热情和耐心地与幼儿园的孩子讲解游戏的规则。在游戏过程中，孩子们每参与一个游戏即可获得贴纸并兑换奖品。

The school invited PSG and the Chinese Department to participate in the booth game to have fun with children and promoted home-school cooperation in building a better learning community.

此外，学校邀请了家委会和中文组加入摊位游戏环节，并设置了各自独具特色的游戏。促进家校合作，共同为学生构建超越学校围墙的学习社区。

Sailing Journal 航行日志

The children earned a sticker for each booth game they completed, which could be redeemed for a voyage log. Each child was given a special Sailing Journal notebook, in which they could write down about their growth at ISA Tianhe.

孩子们通过完成摊位游戏获得贴纸，贴纸可兑换航行日志。每位孩子都获得一本特别的五大洋航行日志，希望他们在日志本中也记录下他们在爱莎天河的成长。

The children had a good time on October Fun Day! Through the school activity, children gained a better understanding of the Earth we live on and some of the features of the natural environment outside the Earth so that they can take action to care for the Earth and protect it! In the future, the school will have more meaningful and fun activities for students!

孩子们都度过了一个十“纷”欢乐的趣味日，通过活动孩子们更好地了解我们所生活的地球以及地球以外的一些自然环境特征，以行动爱护地球，保护环境！接下来，学校将开展更多富有意义的校园活动！
