ACAMIS Volleyball Day 1:

ACAMIS Volleyball has been the talk of the town and there was a buzzing excitement as we left QISS on the bus this morning.

Our sharks made us proud today, showing our values all day long and truly showcasing what being a QISS student is all about!! 

 Our girls took a huge win first up, showing that they can play as a team and are a team to watch in this tournament and in the future!

Our boys had a tough loss first up to Wellington College, but they stayed true to themselves and kept their heads in the game.

The competition heated up in the girls second game, seeing them take a loss to CISB. QISS sharks showed huge dedication and team work and did not make it easy for CISB.

Our boys played extremely well in their second game, but unfortunately they just couldn’t quite keep up, losing to WCIS. We saw some amazing serves from the sharks and we are looking forward to more tomorrow!

Our girls 3rd and final game for day 1 was a tough one! They battled and battled and didn’t let the other team have it easy! They lost 25-20 in the 2nd set, making it a very good battle.

The final game for the day was a battle of Qingdao, QISS and YCIS. The boys played hard and it was a close game! QISS won the first set 27-25! The second set was a tough one but the boys never gave up and defeated YCIS QD 25-17. 

What an amazing end to a huge day!
