The activity is not only to showcase their academic and practical skills, but also a way to give back to the community and society, reflecting their strong sense of social responsibility.
It fully reflected their literacy as IB learners, especially the application of the 5 major ATL (Approaches to Learning) skills, such as research, communication, and collaboration as well as the ability to innovate and solve problems.
Also, it reflected the Learner Profile of our MYP students, especially their sense of mission and the spirit of caring for the community. At the same time, it also vividly illustrates the concept of Service As Learning, allowing them to gain valuable experience in practice and improve their comprehensive literacy.
Due to the epidemic, community public service activities have been forced to be suspended in the past few years. Now that everything is recovering, we will continue to spare no effort to bring warm education to our students and pass on the love and warmth to the community and even the whole society.
