ACAMIS Volleyball Day 3!

Saturday was a tough start, as nerves set in for our girls, they played so hard for day 1 and day 2 and they felt the pressure in game 1 in the gym! They loosened up in their second set and their energy kicked in! These girls are strong and are certainly a team to watch! Unfortunately they lost game 1, but they were still in for a chance to battle it out for 3rd and 4th.

Our boys played incredibly in the 1st set of their game and there were opportunities for our newer players to get on the court and give it a go! It was so great to see them step up to the play and give it their all. Unfortunately our boys just didn’t quite have it in them on the day, but we’re so proud of their season overall! Go Sharks!

Our girls didn’t take their next game lightly and understood exactly what was at stake. The start of the game was a little shaky and they were a bit frazzled. After a few reminders to take a breath and some incredible coaching from Ms Jola the girls remembered to just have some fun out there and go hard! They smashed it out of the park and won both sets 25:20 and 25:21 against DCSZ taking 3rd place in the tournament! Girls, we are so incredibly proud of you all, your grit, determination and motivation to succeed was truly impressive. 

An absolutely incredible end to a huge tournament, finishing our volleyball season on an all time high! Way to go Sharks!
