Tsinglan Primary School Bilingual Host Competition Completed Successfully 

11月9日，备受瞩目的首届“卓越杯”清澜山小学部双语小主持大赛复赛在一片喝彩声中圆满落下帷幕。本次比赛旨在发掘和培养具有主持潜质、双语表达能力突出的优秀小学生，为孩子们提供更多展示才华、锻炼能力的舞台。

On November 9th, the highly anticipated first semi-final of the Tsinglan “Excellence Cup" Primary School Bilingual Host Competition came to a successful conclusion amidst cheers. This competition aims to discover and nurture exceptional primary school students with hosting potential and outstanding bilingual expression skills. It also aims to provide children with more opportunities to showcase their talents and enhance their abilities. 

本次比赛吸引了众多清澜山小学部的学生，经过激烈的初赛选拔，共有27名选手脱颖而出，晋级复赛。复赛现场我们邀请了5位经验丰富的中外方评委老师，进行专业的评分选拨。他们是Ms. Britni Padilla、 Ms. Michelle Perry、魏方老师、李梦阳老师以及贺凯老师。他们本着公正、公平、公开的原则，从以下5个方面为选手们们打分：语言面貌、主持能力、舞台形象、创意展示、临场发挥。同时我们也邀请了G5-7班的韩智信同学和G4-6班的王翊萌同学担任本场活动的中英文小主持。

在复赛中，选手们通过现场抽签的方式抽取自己的题卡，进行了双语稿件播报和双语即兴主持两个环节。选手们全力以赴，展示了出色的语言表达能力、敏捷的思维和丰富的知识储备。比赛过程中，选手们在中英文双语之间自由切换，即兴主持环节两两结对，充分展示了清澜山小学部中英文学习的卓越成果以及团队协作能力。他们以自信的姿态、流利的语言、独特的见解和富有感染力的表现赢得了评委和观众的阵阵掌声。经过激烈的角逐，最终10名选手脱颖而出，成功晋级决赛。入围名单如下。

In the semi-final, the contestants selected their own question cards by drawing them on-site. They also conducted bilingual manuscript broadcasting and impromptu hosting. The contestants exhibited excellent language expression skills, quick thinking, and a wealth of knowledge. Throughout the competition, they seemlessly switched between Chinese and English and worked together in impromptu hosting sessions. This showcased the remarkable achievements of Tsinglan Primary School in Chinese and English proficiency as well as teamwork abilities. The contestants received rounds of applause from the judges and the audience thanks to their confident posture, fluent language, unique insights, and captivating performances. After intense competition, 10 contestants emerged as the finalists as shown below.

清澜山小学部双语小主持大赛复赛为孩子们提供了一个锻炼自我、挑战自我的舞台，也体现了清澜山小学生的新风采。我们期待决赛中选手们能够带来更加精彩的表现，共同见证首届“卓越杯”双语小主持人的诞生。成功入围决赛的选手们将根据要求准备两分钟以内的清澜山主题宣传视频，并在决赛当天现场展示和讲解。

The semi-final of the Tsinglan Primary School Bilingual Host Competition provided a stage for children to practice and challenge themselves, while also displaying the talent of Tsinglan primary school students. We eagerly anticipate the finalists’ thrilling performances and the crowning of the first-ever "Excellence Cup" bilingual host. The successful finalists will be tasked with creating a two-minute Tsinglan-themed promotional video, which they will present and explain it on the day of the finals.
