学校提供了新手村装备清单，为他们的“刷级”做准备。14项“衣物及脚踏装备”、9项“个人装备”、8项“证件及记录用品”、3项“建议携带装备”，所有的物品需要在出发前2天内准备完毕，并且必须由TWIS学生们在没有家人帮助的情况下自行打包。根据学校提供的打包清单，与家长沟通需求，学着取舍，掌握空间整理的相关能力。我们坚信，无论年龄大小，都做到自己打包装备，是作为家长对孩子成长提供的最慷慨的支持。

To reach this level: TWIS students are given a list of equipment to prepare, similar to "grinding" or preparation in games—an essential step for success in later stages of the game. Students must independently pack with minimal parental assistance. With their luggage packed, they face the "boss of the stage"—teachers checking their luggage before hopping on the bus to the train station.

穿梭于两山之间，仅依靠一条钢索行走，或借助钢索滑行，这种徒步+高空绳索的活动，对于每一个TWIS的学生来说都是极大的挑战。但是当他们突破了自身的心理障碍后，迈出坚定的第一步，收获到对岸绝美风景的时候，那种征服大自然之后的豪迈之情油然地体现在他们脸上，其间收获到的自信和力量，将会许久陪伴着他们。

To reach level 3: These TWIS adventurers must now support each other to make it through the next challenge. The skills obtained in climbing are essential, but not enough; students must encourage themselves as they are moving individually but all bound to one safety line. Overcoming psychological barriers and conquering steel cable bridges, wobbly steps, heights, and zip-lines sound like a level to repeat once you have successfully achieved it.

喀斯特地貌造就了阳朔地区奇特的地下溶洞和地下河景观，TWIS的学生深入其中，研究形态各异的钟乳石，考察遍布四处的莲花台、石笋等自然景观，同时丰富了地质科考的知识。岩洞中寒冷、崎岖且湿滑，大部分时候同学们都需要互相搀扶前行。当走出岩洞时，同学们相视一笑，情谊又加深了几分。

Reaching level 4 requires obtaining the achievement in inquirer and knowledgeable to reach the end of this dark and wet cavern. TWIS students will first learn the difference between a cave and a cavern; this insight will give them the confidence to stay at this stage or continue leveling up. Of course, they will all continue to see what is on the other side. The intricacies of the caves are asked by the students to their guide who fills them with knowledge. Each set further is an advancement in the field of geology for them. Through the slippery, sometimes water-filled floors, they must advance, climbing once again and descending until turning off the light from their head torch with the sight of light outside.

别小看皮划艇这项运动，就连最基本的登艇都难倒了一部分初次接触这个项目的同学们，好在有教练的帮助和指导，最终同学们在一次挥桨、蹬转、保持平衡的过程中，与大部队融合到一起，甚至排出了各种队形。

It is the Kayak and yourself on the river; you are responsible for moving, turning, and staying afloat. The self-management skills you have developed since level one are now second nature to you. You will need to reach the serpent boss and be able to play the piano keys to defeat it. Reaching this level is a challenge to some. Luckily, a companion in the form of a coach assists you in mastering paddling and maintaining balance.

终极挑战是考验同学们面对完全未知的世界应该如何自处，“及时反思”在这个时候显得尤为重要。领队帮助TWIS学生们掌握学习定向的技能，包括学习使用地图和指南针、阅读地形图和辨别方向等。通过反思和利用前几个关卡学到的知识和技能，一路前行至终点。

The mastery level is reserved for those students that can not only achieve the past levels; they must also travel the shores Yulong River through an orienteering challenge. At the end, the player must face the most difficult boss of all, themselves. The only way to defeat this boss is through reflection! Reflecting on their experiences, areas of improvement, and strengths to make the most of their learning journey. Luckily, TWIS aims to equip all students on the journey of life-long learning with the knowledge, skills, attitudes, and values to excel in their academic and personally as they navigate the world. Thus providing a boost of +900 confidence, +700 resilience, and +1200 points of growth mindset to complete this final level in Yangshuo.

通过这次的无墙周阳朔之行，我们把学生们从游戏探险中拉回到现实，同学们野外生存技能得到了充分的锻炼，同时通过了一次次对自身以及团队的考验，为冲出舒适区、改变世界做出最大的努力。恭喜各位同学本次阳朔冒险通关，Level Up！

Although this article aimed to reflect this trip as a video game for students, pulling them away from the screens and into the real world, Week Without Walls (WWW) at TWIS is an immensely important growing opportunity for all who join. Our minds are on improving this world and venturing out of our comfort zone to make change. Level Up!
