On November 14th, Tuesday, a parent workshop focusing on the IB PYP (International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme) took place in the auditorium. Mr. Rob, our Primary Assistant Principal, conducted an engaging and informative presentation for the attending parents. The workshop covered a range of topics, including the history and mission of the IB program, the IB learner profile, the implementation of IB program in the classroom, strategies employed to foster students' IB characteristics, the Unit of Inquiry, and the PYPX (Primary Years Programme Exhibition).

Throughout the workshop, parents and teachers had the opportunity to engage in meaningful discussions, promoting a better understanding of their children's experiences within the IB PYP framework. The event provided valuable insights into the IB Program's objectives and methodologies, enabling parents to actively support and contribute to their children's educational journey.

Overall, this parent workshop served as a platform for collaboration and information-sharing between parents, teachers, and the school community, fostering a deeper understanding of the IB PYP and its impact on students' holistic development.

On November 16th, Thursday, our Secondary Assistant Principal, Ms. Holly, conducted a parent workshop on the College Board Advanced Placement Program (AP Program) in the auditorium. This workshop was open to both our current parents and prospective parents who were interested in international education.

AXIS is an official AP exam center authorized by the US College Board. Offering AP courses would allow students to make highly competitive applications to colleges and universities all around the world.

Ms. Holly delivered a comprehensive presentation, equipping parents with detailed information about the AP program. She covered essential aspects, such as an overview of AP, the diverse range of AP courses available, the benefits of the AP program, and the significance of the AP Capstone Program. Through her presentation, parents gained a clear understanding of the AP program, providing them with a roadmap for academic success.

In addition to the informative session, Ms. Holly facilitated a Q&A session where parents had the opportunity to ask questions. To enhance the dialogue, she invited our secondary teachers to join her on stage, enabling them to address the queries posed by the audience.
