2023 QISN Football Tournament 

Our Middle School Boys took part in the QISN Football tournament, hosted at Malvern College. 

The boys were excited and ready to roll and it was awesome to hear excited chatter and positive attitudes from the players. The boys showed true QISS Shark spirit and took the competition seriously, displaying our QISS values of integrity, compassion, creativity and inclusivity along the way. Well done sharks! 

The first game saw some absolutely spectacular plays by the boys, and they had a clean win 4:0 against MCQ. The boys were so excited, jumping up and down and celebrating their win! Celebrations were short and sweet as they prepared for the next game against QAIS.

QAIS have beat us in a couple of games during the season, so the boys had to step it up! That they did!! The boys battled it out taking a strong lead and winning the game 4:1. Semi finals time! Go sharks!! 

The Semi finals saw us playing WZFS and our boys just didn’t let them have it easy! The wind was blowing hard but the boys didn’t let it get to them. They smashed the semifinals 2:0 and made it to the FINALS!!!! 

Finals were a battle to the end!! ISQ we’re incredible contenders and it came down to penalties! Both teams played brilliantly and it came down to 1 goal being scored by ISQ to take the win! Well done to both teams. Congratulations to our sharks on their 2nd place achievement and for keeping up the amazing QISS shark spirit all day long! We are so proud of you!!!!
