We are thrilled to share with you the incredible outcomes of our recent Professional Development Week for Teachers, featuring the expertise of renowned literacy strategist Kalley Hoke, in collaboration with Erin Kent Consulting. This enlightening event was designed to equip our teachers with enhanced methodologies and responsive practices to better support your children's educational journey.

Throughout the week, our dedicated teachers had the opportunity to work closely with Kalley Hoke, focusing on grades 1-5 and refining their teaching approaches.

The importance of high-quality word recognition teaching

They delved into the importance of high-quality word recognition teaching, both in small group settings and during whole-class instruction. By assessing students in real-time, they were able to design personalized lessons that catered to their specific needs, ensuring differentiated learning opportunities for every child.

How to develop students language comprehension skills

Our educators also learned how to develop your children's language comprehension skills through thoughtfully designed read-aloud sessions.
