PYP2本次的单元主题是探索家庭传统和文化遗产方面。在中文课上制作家族故事和传统的精美海报，到体育课上了解传统竞技体育的魅力，再到戏剧课上演绎传统寓言故事等。在COLA上，我们的学生展示了他们在课程中的收获，并以极大的热情自信地分享自己的学习经历。 

Last week's showcase was a vibrant and heartwarming testament to the incredible learning journey undertaken by our students in exploring family traditions and cultural heritage. In Chinese class, students created beautiful posters depicting their family stories and traditions. In physical education class, they learned about the allure of traditional competitive sports, and in drama class, they performed traditional fables. During the Celebration of Learning Assembly, our students showcased their achievements in the curriculum and shared their learning experiences with great enthusiasm and confidence. 

PYP3的同学们热情地投入到他们课程的各个方面。从掌握数学中的乘法到探索英语诗歌的神奇世界，再到进行引人入胜的科学实验，学生们以热情和渴望学习的态度拥抱每一堂课。 

The journey began weeks ago when the PYP 3 students eagerly delved into various aspects of their curriculum. From mastering multiplication in math to exploring the magical world of English poetry, and conducting captivating science experiments, the students embraced each lesson with enthusiasm and an eagerness to learn.

在学习庆典大会上，PYP3的学生们热情自豪地分享他们所学到的知识，背诵诗歌，并通过戏剧表达自己。每一个时刻都证明了他们所获得的知识、所发展的技能和在整个单元中蓬勃发展的创造力。 

The assembly unfolded with students confidently sharing what they had learned, reciting poems, and expressing themselves through the play. Each moment was a testament to the knowledge they had acquired, the skills they had developed, and the creativity that flourished throughout their unit.

小学四年级学生前往广州长隆动物园进行了一次富有启发性的参观。这次出游是“我们是谁“单元的重要组成部分，主题内容是关注人类和动物的权利，在这个以多样化的野生动物和其保护而闻名的动物园，学生们深入了解了动物的权利，观察了动物在仿自然生境中的生活，并讨论了野生动物护理的重要性。他们了解了动物园在保护工作中的作用，以及人类活动与动物福祉之间的平衡。

Our PYP 4 students embarked on an enlightening visit to Chimelong Safari Park in Guangzhou. This excursion was a pivotal part of their unit "Who We Are," focusing on human and animal rights. At the zoo, known for its diverse wildlife and conservation efforts, students delved into animal rights, observing animals in naturalistic habitats and discussing the importance of ethical wildlife care. They learned about the zoo's role in conservation and the balance between human activities and animal welfare.  

这次旅行不仅仅是学术练习，更是一次充满同情心和责任感的旅程，加深了学生对地球上多样化动物的共情和欣赏。我们致力于提供像这样的现实世界体验，这对于培养全球意识来说至关重要。 

This trip was more than just an academic exercise; it was a journey of empathy and responsibility, deepening our students' understanding and appreciation for our planet's diverse inhabitants. We're committed to providing such real-world experiences, crucial for developing globally conscious individuals.  

这些活动不仅仅是学术展示，更是IB 核心理念的实践——探究、反思和全面发展的体现。参与这些活动让学生们能拥有对自己学习的主导权，增强表达技巧，并提升了他们的自信心。我们非常感动于家长和教师在这些活动中的热情参与，因为这进一步强化了TWIS学习环境中协作性和支持性。

These assemblies are not just academic showcases; they are reflections of the IB's core tenets of inquiry, reflection, and holistic development. Participating in these events empowers our students to take ownership of their learning, enhances their presentation skills, and boosts their confidence. The enthusiastic involvement of parents and teachers in these events has been heartwarming, reinforcing the collaborative and supportive learning environment at TWIS.
