We are writing to invite you to the 2024 Chinese New Year Temple Fair, to celebrate Spring Festival with various stalls, activities and games.
Event Overview

Food and specialty, art and performance, sales and charity, games and activities – the temple fair will be divided into five areas with 60 stalls which offering hundreds of activities.
Birthday Celebration of poet Su Shi, lion and dragon dance, rattan art — these traditional activities will bring strong cultural and festive vibes to the temple fair.
Charity is an important factor of Harrow events. This time, apart from the charity group, other student-led stalls will donate at least 40% of the income to the charity. 40% income of Friends of Harrow Lucky Draw will be used for donation (first round announcement at 4:30; second round at 5:00).

Arrival and Dismissal Time
①School buses will run as usual. During 3:15-3:45, teachers will bring school bus students to the temple fair. School bus families will receive an attendance registration form soon, if the students don’t take the bus on the day, please register via the form or inform teachers or the school bus company.

For PP and US, if the students participate in the temple fair, parents can pick up students at 3:15 pm from the north gate.
EY dismissal time is adjusted as below
For EY students who don’t participate in the temple fair, parents will need to inform the class teachers by 9:00 of January 25.
Students can directly wear festive clothes to school on the day.
The phone usage
for US students
For US students, phones are allowed during the event. If the phone is brought in by a student since the morning, it needs to be stored in a personal locker, any phones seen earlier on the day will be confiscated.
Parents are required to wear the badge and use the north gate to enter the campus. As there will be limited parking space, taking public transportation is highly recommended.
Adults will need to use adult bathrooms on the first floor of PP building, US building and the one nearby the Auditorium entrance.

There will be a nurse station, inquiry station and Lost & Found table on the site. Relevant staff and parent volunteers with blue vests will provide support
