Exciting news! We are offering the AP Capstone Diploma Program in the Fall of 2024!

好消息！我校将在今年秋季（24-25学年）提供AP顶石文凭课程！

Since June 2022, AXIS has become an authorized AP(Advanced Placement) School, and the highly anticipated AP Capstone Diploma Program is set to launch in Fall 2024! AXIS is one of approximately 3,500 schools worldwide to offer the AP® Seminar, which is part of the AP Capstone Diploma™ program. The program focuses on students developing essential skills for college and career success such as critical thinking, research, collaboration, and communication.

自2022年6月起，长菁已成为授权的AP(美国大学预修课程)学校，备受期待的AP 顶石文凭课程将于2024年秋季启动！长菁是全球约3,500所提供AP研讨课程的学校之一，该研讨课程是AP 顶石文凭项目的一部分。该课程的重点是培养学生在大学和职业上取得成功的基本技能，如批判性思维、研究、合作和沟通。

What Is AP Capstone?

     什么是AP顶石项目？

AP Capstone™ is a diploma program from the College Board based on two yearlong AP courses: AP Seminar and AP Research.

AP顶石项目是一项由美国大学理事会推出的基于两年时长的文凭课程，包括了AP研讨课程和AP研究课程。

Instead of teaching specific subject knowledge, AP Seminar and AP Research use an interdisciplinary approach to develop the critical thinking, research, collaboration, time management, and presentation skills students need for college-level work.

AP研讨课程和AP研究课程不教授特定的学科知识，而是采用跨学科的方法来培养学生的批判性思维、研究、协作、时间管理和演讲技巧，这些都是在完成大学水平的作业所需要的。

Participating in AP Capstone Can Help Students:

Both AP Seminar and AP Research guide students through completing a research project, writing an academic paper, and making a presentation on their project. Throughout the two-year program, students are required to:

• Analyze topics through multiple lenses to construct meaning or gain understanding.

• Plan and conduct a study or investigation.

• Propose solutions to real-world problems.

• Plan and produce communication in various forms.

• Collaborate to solve a problem.

• Integrate, synthesize, and make cross-curricular connections.
