参与竞赛不仅是展现个人才华的平台，也是提升综合素养的方式，是学生全方面发展的优质途径。学生在竞赛中可以培养抗压调节和解决问题能力。另外，参与竞赛还能建立学生的自信心和竞争意识。在激烈的竞赛中，必须发挥自己的最优水平与其他同学相互切磋。这种竞争意识和挑战精神将激发学生不断进步，勇敢迎接未知的挑战。
Participating in different competitions not only is an opportunity to express students’ talents, but also a way to improve skills as well as competencies and to foster the full development of students. Stress resistance and problem-solving skills as well as confidence and competitive awareness will also be built and developed when actively involved in the process. During competitions, students must do their best and compete with others. The spirit of competitiveness and adventure then will encourage them to make consistent progress and to be prepared for unknown challenges.

Sias IS encourages students to participate in competitions not just to win awards and prizes, but to develop multiple abilities, expand their horizons, and enhance their competitiveness. Experiences of participating in competitions will then be a bonus for college and university applications and lay a solid foundation for future development.
