The Yew Chung College of Early Childhood Education, founded by the Yew Chung Educational Institution in 2018, is a registered non-profit organization in Hong Kong. It stands as the first undergraduate college in Hong Kong and Asia to focus on early childhood education. Under the leadership of renowned international early childhood educator Dr. Chen Baoqiong, the college has been a model of quality early childhood education since the 1970s. Its unique concepts, curriculum, and teaching methods have gained widespread recognition, blending the essence of Eastern and Western cultures while constantly pioneering new trends in early childhood education.
According to surveys, China currently faces a shortage of hundreds of thousands of professionals in the early childhood education sector, and Hong Kong also grapples with a shortage of early childhood educators. This collaboration will offer students from ASJ(Foshan) a valuable opportunity to pursue higher education in early childhood education at YCCECE. Teachers will receive professional guidance and training from the college, broadening their professional horizons and enhancing their overall competence.
It is believed that through mutual efforts, this collaboration will make positive contributions to the flourishing development of early childhood education in both regions, providing a broader platform for cultivating more outstanding professionals in the field.
