SEL|面对网络霸凌,看小学部的孩子们如何在SEL课程中学习用行动Say No!

在这个数字时代,互联网已经成为我们生活中不可或缺的一部分。然而,网络世界并非完美,其中存在着一些危害我们心理健康和社交关系的问题,如网络霸凌。


在过去的STEM WEEK科技周,ASJ学子了解到在网络上的每一个言论和行为都具有影响力,无论是积极还是消极的,我们应当意识到自己在网络空间中的责任。通过友善的评论、积极的互动和尊重他人的观点,我们能够共同营造一个友善、包容和正能量的网络环境。


In this digital age, the Internet has become an integral part of our lives. However, the online world is not perfect, and there are problems that jeopardize our mental health and social relationships, such as cyberbullying.


During the past STEM WEEK , ASJ students learned that every comment and action on the internet has an impact, whether positive or negative, and that we should be aware of our responsibilities in cyberspace. Through friendly comments, positive interactions and respect for others' views, we can work together to create a friendly, inclusive and positive online environment.


Morning SEL


在每天的晨间SEL活动中,老师带领学生一起探讨了什么是霸凌行为。同学们积极讲述自己了解到或经历过的霸凌事件,并使用Mood-Meter的颜色分区及愉悦、能量两个不同维度来分享自己关于受欺凌的感受,最后通过 “BULLY or BUDDY ”(霸凌还是做朋友)活动,制作属于自己的“援助之手”,清晰地展现ASJ学子对“何为霸凌行为”与“何为援助的理解”。


In the daily morning SEL activity, the teacher led the students to explore what bullying is. Students actively talked about bullying incidents they had learned or experienced, and used the four color quadrants from the Mood-Meter as well as different level of pleasantness and energy to share their feelings about bullying. Finally, through the BULLY or BUDDY activity, students created their own "helping hands", clearly demonstrating ASJ students' understanding of "what is bullying" and "what is helping".

同学们在SEL课堂上观看洛杉矶 One-Reeler 电影节最佳动画短片《Are you ok?》, 对短片中受欺凌者身上渐长的“紫色液体”进行了热烈讨论。同学们认为 “紫色液体”意味着受凌者所经历的欺凌行为,以及网络霸凌带来的层层压力与抑郁心情,但是经过细心同学的一句问候“Are you ok?”身上的紫色液体渐渐变成光芒。由此同学们意识到,不仅在校园活动上,在网络行为上我们也要对自己的言行负责,不让语言变成伤害。同时注意肖像权的使用,不随意未经他人允许在网上发布他人的照片。对于受欺凌的同学给予关心、关怀和适当的帮助。


Students watched the best animated short film "Are you ok?" at the Los Angeles One-Reeler Film Festival in SEL class, and had a lively discussion about the "purple liquid" that grows on the body of the victim of bullying in the short film. The students thought that the "purple liquid" signified the bullying behavior experienced by the victim, as well as the layers of pressure and depression brought by cyber-bullying, but the purple liquid on the victim's body gradually turned into shining light after a simple greeting from a peer "Are you ok? “ From this, students realized that we should be responsible for our own words and actions not only in campus activities but also in online behaviors, so as not to let words turn into harm. At the same time, we should pay attention to the use of the right of portrait, and not to post other people's photos on the Internet without their permission. Moreover, students should care about their peers and give them support when they are able to help. 



随后,同学们分别以“霸凌者”、“旁观者”、“受凌者”三个角度,创作以霸凌为主题的“朋友圈”,与全校同学一起参与朋友圈评论,以互动的方式分享对霸凌行为极其后果的理解。


Later, students created "WeChat Moments" themed on bullying from the perspectives of "Bully", "Bystander" and "Victim of Bullying" respectively, and participated in commenting on the WeChat Moments together with their schoolmates to share their understanding of bullying behaviors and their consequences in an interactive way.

网络霸凌是一种通过网络平台对他人进行恶意攻击、威胁或羞辱的行为。它可以采取多种形式,如未经他人允许使用照片制作表情包、谩骂、人身攻击、散布虚假信息等。我们需要了解网络霸凌的表现方式,以便更好地识别并应对这些问题。


Cyberbullying is a type of malicious attack, threat or humiliation of others through online platforms. It can take many forms, such as using photos to make emoticons without others' permission, name-calling, personal attacks and spreading false information. We need to understand how cyberbullying manifests itself so that we can better recognize and respond to these issues.

正确网络行为的策略:


1. 保持冷静:当遭遇网络霸凌时,保持冷静是非常重要的。不要争吵或回应恶意评论,避免升级冲突。


2. 寻求支持和帮助:不要独自承受网络霸凌的压力。告诉信任的人,如家人、朋友或老师,寻求他们的支持和帮助。


3. 保存证据并举报:保留网络霸凌的证据,如截图或记录。随后,及时向相关平台或学校举报,让他们采取适当的措施。


1. Stay calm: When experiencing cyberbullying, it is very important to stay calm. Avoid escalating the conflict by not arguing or responding to malicious comments.


2. Seek support and help: Don't go through the stress of cyberbullying alone. Tell someone you trust, such as a family member, friend or teacher, and seek their support and help.


3. Keep evidence and report: Keep evidence of cyberbullying, such as screenshots or records. Subsequently, report it to the relevant platform or school in time for them to take appropriate measures.

在周五的SEL校园活动中,小学部的同学将制作好的网络霸凌朋友圈展示出来,引发不少高年级学生、老师及家长的关注和思考,并进行评论留言,传递积极、健康的学习社区能量。


During Friday's SEL Campus event, students from the Primary Division displayed the cyberbullying Wechat Moments that they had created, prompting many seniors, teachers and parents to pay attention and reflect on the issue and to comment and leave messages to convey the energy of a positive, healthy learning community.




让我们共同努力,构建一个负责任的网络空间。请每个人都意识到自己在网络上的影响力,积极传播正能量,尊重他人,避免网络霸凌行为。
